Btw, why take off N'Gotty (who I thought along with Hayles was our best player in the first half) and put Fryatt on the wing?

Posted

Henderson 8- if it weren't for henderson we could of lost by 5 or 6

Stearman 6- one of the better players

McAuley 4- distribution was awful

Kisnorbo 4- distribution was awful

Clapham 4- rubbish. always passes the ball backwards and never looks like he wants to cross the ball. shouldn't of took the free kicks or corners either they were all crap

Oakley 5- at least he tried to tackle and close people down quickly

Hendrie 5- only player on the pitch that looked like he wanted the ball although his passing and touch was awful

N'Gotty 4- passing was crap and is to slow to play in midfield

Fryatt 4- rubbish today. he's to slow to play on the left wing and when he goes upfront he's too close to howard

Hayles 5- played well first half when on the left wing running at there right back but was inneffective when playing upfront

Howard 4- won most of the headers he went up for but that was about it

Posted

Henderson -7- Some excellent saves but why the fook did he come sliding out for the penalty, i don't think he touched him but Campbell should never of had the opportunity to go down.

Stearman -6- Solid defensively.

Kisnorbo -3- Shocking

McAuley -3- Ditto.

Clapham -5- Wasn't the worst.

Hendrie -6- Always trying to get things going creatively, made some good runs but passing and his pass selection was awful at times.

Oakley -3- Awful imo, has he been better than Clemence? I really don't think so.

N'Gotty -5- I thought he did ok, kept things as simple as he could.

Hayles -4- Had a decent first half but hardly touched the ball second half.

Howard -4- didn't get any serivce whatsoever.

Fryatt -3- Very poor, lost the ball on many occasions.

Etuhu -3- Crap.

The playes dont deserve a rating today apart from Hendo who i would of gave an 9 and maybe Clapham i thought he was decent

I just tried to get the kids a delivery, using the vouchers and the menu Pizza Hut put through the door last week.

"Sorry" says the minimum wage acne merchant "but we no longer stock that pizza" (the one that is split in four sections of four)

What is it about Pizza companies and City fans on a Saturday - last week it was Domino's pissing off LD3.

Bastards.

Grr. Double the reason for me to blame them for everything wrong in my life then.

Henderson 8.5 - Easily man of the match

Stearman 2 - Are people serious when they say he played well. Would say he was at fault for first goal. Made numerous terrible decisions, and constantly gave the ball away when not under pressure. Move him to Centre-Half. Time for a proper right-back! My Hull supporting mate thought he was our weakest link, which is saying something!

McAuley 4 - Poor

Kisnorbo 3.5 - Shocking, couldn't cope with Campbell's pace

Clapham 5 - I thought he was the best of a bad bunch in the back four. However, Ollie should have started with Mattock.

Oakley 5.5 - Average.

Hendrie 2 - Awful. Should never play for the club again. How many times did he give the ball back to Hull. In my view he was one their most dangerous playersN'Gotty 6.5 - Was doing very well first half, breaking most Hull attacks up - Why was he taken off and not Fryatt!

N'Gotty - 1.5 Terrible decsion by Ollie to play him

Fryatt 3 - You can't play him out wide!

Hayles 5 - At least he looked like he was bothered

Howard 6 - I thought he was better than most. He needs to play with good wide players who play the ball early, and a strike partner who can mopve into intelligent positions

Subs

Ethuhu 3 Tried, but was found wanting

Mattock - 6 Did OK and actually broke forward with real intent on one occassion

Campbell - 1.5 Not as good as his name sake playing for the oppo!

Ian Holloway - 1 Terrible team selection. Yes, we won last week, but only because WBA went dowm to ten men. The personel were clearly wrong for the system. Too many players were playing out of position. Clemence and J. Chambers should have been involved, and Max Gradel should have been brought back from loan from Bournmouth. N'Gotty should never play in midfield, and Hendrie should never play (again!)

So, N'Gotty ... 6.5 or 1.5 ...?! :dunno:

Henderson - 8 Great penalty save and his overall play was superb. Two great saves from free kicks also

Bruno - 3 Totally and utterly at sea. Looked like he did'nt understand what he was supposed to be doing.

McAuley - 4 Distinctly average, lots of lip to the ref was lucky not to get a second yellow for dissent at one point.

Kisnorbo - 4 Looked very very nervous. Up tight and not at his best.

Stearman - 3 - Bambi on ice again. Lost the ball under no pressure on several occasions around his own box. Needs dropping.

Clapham - 4 - Lively and got forward well first half, invisible second half until subbed.

Hendrie - 4 - Put a shift in and tried unlike some others, what he did do however was not pretty viewing.

Oakley - 4 - Invisible and lost on a system that was a mystery to all, including the players.

Fryatt - 3 - Would have also got 2 apart from it was not his fault he was stuck on the left wing after half time. Pointless.

Hayles - 5 - Played very well on the left wing, so at half time Olly moved him up front...... Bollocks

Howard - 2 Could'nt be arsed, half paced and cant jump. Lethargic, lazy and a waste of space.

Subs

Mattock - 2 One of three statues that all watched while Hull scored their second goal.

DJ Campbell - 0 Could play until next Thursday week and still not score, even after Hull City had gone home!

Etuhu - 4 - Ran down dead ends all second half. Atleast we had a winger on the wing and not a striker.

And finally Ollie.... 0 Played some fooked up over complicated system in the first half that no one could work out, as as always had numerous players out of position and without a clue.

His team lacked ambition, belief, organisation, desire, passion, guile, drive, the ability to pass, vision, a game plan.. I could go on.

Time to move on Ollie, your job is done....

Henderson 8.5 He made 5 top class saves including the penalty. Would have lost by 7 otherwise. The only player to come out of the game with any respect.

Clapham 4.5 some good tackles but little else.

Mccauley 2 abysmyl. Showed up time and time again by Campbell. Useless distribution poor tackling awful on the ground. He is what he is a thrid tier player. He has no chance against any forward with pace and the ability to turn.

Kisnorbo 2 As bad as above. Kept slipping and just never got to grips with their strikers.

Stearman 5 ok but no more.

N'gotty 5 a tad harsh on him to be subbed when two other clowns deserved that fate more than him. Not a midfielder.

oakley 0 Well I've seen some crap midfield perfomances over the years but that really takes the biscuit. How many times did he give the ball away? Zero effort zero tckles made the fternoon easy for them. Another performance which shows just how right the management at Derby were to offload this extremely average player. And he was skipper as well. Don't really care if he never plays again if that is the best he can do.

hendrie 5 At least he tried to get things going but generally not good enough. Set pieces were poor.

Hayles 5 Good first half but rendered ineffective in the second by his own manager. At least he tried.

Fryatt 0 Absolutley woeful. Awful in the first half and even worse in the second. Can't play left wing but didn't look like he cared.

Howard 3 little use. Will have the occasional good match but is past it especially with the type of ball he keeps on getting.

subs

Etuhu 1 Well I was picked on for saying he was only ok vs Bristol City but today he was just a waste of space. His first touch is ordinary, he doesn't seem to put in the effort, his crossing was terrible and he had no awareness of those around him. Does he really want to be here? doesn't look like it. Persoanlly I'd recall Gradel or pla the Hungarians they simply can't do any worse than nis performance today.

Mattock 4 Seemed to stop playing or their 2nd goal. Not really on long enough to make an impact.

DJ 4 hard to judge when the service he got was so dire but didn't really seem to add anything much either.

Holloway Not as many as 0. The guy is no more than a bad stand up. Totally out of his depth. He has to go at the end of the season even if we stay up. Can't motivate the players. No tactical nous and I await the excuses for this latest lame performance with interest.

First game I've seen since QPR away due to uni commitments but that was absolutely disgraceful.

Henderson 9 - Absolutely terrific display apart from their second goal which he didn't come out in time for. MOM by a country mile for us and possibly the best player on the pitch.

Stearman 7 - Actually did pretty well. Looked committed, made a couple of great tackles

Kisnorbo 4.5 - The worst I've seen him play at centre back

McAuley 4 - Should probably stick to hoofing it because every time he tried to pass it he fooked it up.

Clapham 4 - Not good

N'Gotty 1 - Worst passing I've ever seen. Except McAuley, also today.

Hendrie 3 - Just likes being a dick. Did some good stuff but also made some terrible passes, including one in the second half where he had to shoot and just wacked an awful pass down towards the corner flag

Oakley 2 - Did very little right, lots of running, absolutely zero end product.

Fryatt 2 - Decent first half, shocking second half. I know he was out of position but I rate according to what I see. And what I saw was not very good at all.

Hayles 5 - Good first half, anonymous second.

Howard 1 - Did one flick on go to a Leicester player? How many fouls did he give away? TERRIBLE.

Etuhu 4 - Tried hard but was useless.

Holloway - -8. AWFUL. Why play Fryatt left wing after the break in a 4-4-2 when Barry had had a decent half on the left up until then. Fryatt has no skills that a left winger needs - he's a clever 'box' player and as a result was totally ineffective. And then the decision to bring on Campbell and Mattock defied belief when we needed to take control of the game in the centre of the park, where we were being dominated. I think Clemence or Weso would have done a better job than Hendrie and Oakley and he should have spotted that that was where lots was going wrong. He is reactive rather than proactive and that's exactly what will get us relegated.

Fans - 2. And I don't blame us.

Posted

Henderson 7 - great pen save but what was he doing when he gave it away?

Stearman 6 - solid

Kisnorbo 2 - unusually bad game for him

McAuley 3 - not much better

N'Gotty 4 - Gave ball away too much but did break some Hull attacks up

Clapham 5 - A couple of nice turns inside

Oakley 3 - invisible

Hendrie 4 - tried hard but touch was appalling

Hayles 5 - Player of the 1st hlaf but went missing in the 2nd

Fryatt 2 - was he playing?

Howard 5 - always seems to get the flick on but noone there when he did.

Subs

Etuhu 1 - first time I've seen him play a sizeable time and was awful

Campbell 2 - never noticed him after he came on

Mattock 4 - didn't do anything more than Clapham was doing

Ollie 3 - seemed devoid of ideas, although I still can't see point of sacking him this season.

Hull City 8 - Can see why they are where they are - fully deserved win and shoulda won by more.

Henderson - 6 - Kicking was okay apart from one wayward one. Gave the penalty away (-1) but saved it (+2). Him and Mattock at fault for the AWFUL 2nd goal we conceded (-1). Some good saves though. (+1)

Stearman - 5.5 - Pick of our defenders defensively. Him and Etuhu still aren't playing well together.

McAuley - 4 - More solid, still shouldn't ever be he recipient of a pass, wasn't his best aerially.

Kisnorbo - 3 - Mistake after mistake. Won his headers.

Clapham - 6 - Him and Baz man of the match. Outfield

N'Gotty - 5.5 - His passing wasn't great but he covered the back four brilliantly, buying us time to swing the defence to bear on what was coming at us. Didn't realise what a good job he was doing until the 2nd half where we missed him badly. I'd have made the same substitution Ollie did though if I'm honest. But I'd have kept Baz down the left - him and Clapham were combining brilliantly.

Oakley - 5 - Put himself about well.

Hendrie - 5 - Kept trying things, kept geeing up the players. Not everything came off for him today but he tried to keep things moving even though the midfield was being bypassed too much.

Fryatt - 4 - Not his best game. I'd have started Campbell.

Hayles - 6 - Fantastic first half, was moved to the middle 2nd half when he was one of our few good points. WHY?

Howard - 3 - Didn't want the ball except to his head. Making the run and then not looking for the pass when Hayles ran through the middle of the park was criminal. His flick ons didn't work but we kept fucking trying. NO.

Mattock - 4 - At fault for the goal a second or so after he got on. Bad luck, he'll learn from it. Played alright otherwise but I'd have left Clapham on.

Campbell - 4 - Didn't make an impact but he should have come on earlier or started.

Etuhu - 4 - Bit lazy, but got some crosses in but no-one wanted to know. Thats not his fault.

Why the fook Fryatt spend almost a whole half on the left wing when Hayles had done a perfectly ok job there is beyond me.

Shocking.

Or is that your round about way of saying he was the most oustanding of the pricks playing for LCFC :dunno:

Only because Sappleton wasn't playing.

Seriously, Baz was our best outfield player today by a country mile, despite fading in the second half. Hendrie wasn't a patch on what he was last week but I'm pleased to say the effort was there from him.

Seriously I agree and I'd never would have picked him to play.

Wonder what Oakley's pass success rate was?

I don't know about Oakley (although he was terrible), but if you discounted square balls, what is McAuley's?

He is a sorry excuse for a footballer at times. His saving grace is he's a half decent defender, but he couldn't even do that today.
