Kopfox Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 At least my mate at Derby knows they will lose, us, we don't know which team will turn out each week. You go to the match thinking, perhaps this week we might get a win, and what happens, a team turns up, that look totally disinterested, that are second to the ball, that are slow, that dont know where each other supposed to be. What was that formation all about????, why change the team????? Barry Hayles looked sharp until................... changed position. Coventry game all over again only worse, and once again Ollie hardly showed his face on the touchline, where as there manager never moved from the touchline for the whole match. To be honest we don't deserve to be in this division. Things have got worse since Mandaric arrived (To my surprise) He cant pick a decent manager, or perhaps more to the point, one that will come. The players don't know what there job is on the field. I think we have some decent players, but a team of decent individual players does not mean it will gel into a decent team. The managers record is poor, and I believe he would have been fired by now, but for the fact MM will be made to look trigger happy again, but I believe we should have that change, we have nothing to lose, but if Ollie is kept, get rid before the next season. All is not lost yet, we have some teams to play where we should get a result, but it looks iffy to me.
Asha Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 Things have got worse since Mandaric arrived (To my surprise) I agree, we never had money before and we dealed with it. Since the finance situation has improved, the team hasn't.

tartanowl Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 Out of curiosity how much have your various managers had to spend since Mandaric arrived? I know it's a lot of money and for the return you've got I can fully understand your anger and frustration.

Kelly £0 Worthington £0 Allen £2.1m Megson £0 x1 Loan Holloway £2m + x4 Loan wages I think most of the money has been on new player wages rather than fees dished out.

Actually not as much as people think....but it's not made any difference anyway,we are going backwards and pinning our hopes on winning the majority of our remaining matches when we haven't managed to do anything like that for 4 years is a bit optimistic. I think our luck has run out this time,Ollie is going sooner or later so it might as well be sooner!

Interesting that thanks. That's a lot of money compared to what most CCC clubs spent. I'd be furious if we'd spent that, and a huge amount on wages and were in your position. I sympathise with your situation. We feel bad about the money we've wasted on Francis 'biscuit legs' Jeffers but in comparison its not the same.

If you can turn out a few performances like last week you'll be fine. We're in a sorry state too but at least we've been playing well and not losing many matches recently. Personally I think it'll be Southampton that go down they are absolutely atrocious.

We're in a sorry state too but at least we've been playing well and not losing many matches recently. Personally I think it'll be Southampton that go down they are absolutely atrocious. The good thing is, our run-in is easy compared to Cov or Saints. You lot will be fine too. I am fed up with our over-paid players just turning up for our wages and although I don't want Ollie to go now as it will be further instability.. some of the blame MUST lie with him as he doesn't seem to be able to motivate them on a consistent basis - a win at West Brom one week and then this - although Hull are the form team at the moment.

Listen don't worry about Francis Jeffers, if we stick with RatBoy Holloway to the end of the season, you are odds on to come here and take all 3 points (As we have lost to all our relegation rivals home and away in recent weeks). Probably be a wonderful relief for both of us.....But in different ways
Matt Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 To be honest we don't deserve to be in this division. Why? Because we're are "big" club? To big to go down? We do deserve to be in this division and we do deserve to be in this posistion, as fans its hard to watch and accept all these people who don't give fuk about Leicester City FC fuking us up but at the end of the day if the players don't go out there and play to win or just expect to win i'm sorry but their not. Why do we deserve to beat "the likes of Hull" (Which i've seen posted a few times in the last few day, even though their competing for promotion), "the like of Blackpool, S****horpe, Colchester..." the list goes on, IF Manchester United played Hinckley United even they would have to put up a fight to beat them, not matter how good the one team is compared to how bad the opposition is no-one can just turn up and win. Unless of course you ment that comment of we have dodged relegation 3? 4? times in a row now and we don't deserve to be in this division, we should have been relegated a while ago?! Things have got worse since Mandaric arrived (To my surprise) Correct, some of the decisions took by Milan haven't been right, but some people need to look deeper, the reality is if we hadn't been took over we were looking at administration again.

ibbosuk Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 Just out of curiosity, why do you call him RatBoy?? The Facial features are all there, the snout is just outstanding!! The hunched back, supreme!! The scurry between dugout and pitch is typical trait!! Is most at home in sewer systems!! All in all a superb exampe of the black rat, Rattus Rattus RatBoy!!

ibbosuk Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 Not sure I agree but thanks for the explanation!! Maybe your right as Rats do tend to desert sinking ships, but we carn't seem to get rid of this one. A spade across its head, or RatBoy poison.....Maybe

AyewJoking Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 I almost wish we'd just get relegated so we can all be devastated, angry, depressed for a while and then move on. The last few years have been awful and tedious.
Webbo Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 Dont forget the Million+ that has gone direct to agents And hasn't been returned to anyone in brown paper bags in cash, honest.

MM has piled money into the club and he must be shatting himself for losing loads of the millions he made at Pompey on us in one season. He probably didnt think we would go up but thought we`d be in a stronger position than last but after we are just as bad if not worse although we do have decent players on "paper" who unfortunately cant convert there promise/ability on the pitch. Its not all MMs fault but there is no hiding the fact that this season has been a disaster in more ways than one.
