Kilworthfox Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 Do people feel confident with him in goal? I don't. Agreed I would rather Rab at the moment
Tilley Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 Do people feel confident with him in goal? I don't. I would personally feel more uncomfortable with Rab in goal.
Tevez Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 We're looking at scraping the barrel here, but who would you rather have? Henderson at Bradford or Douglas from Celtic. Do the Maths.
Kilworthfox Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 We're looking at scraping the barrel here, but who would you rather have? Henderson at Bradford or Douglas from Celtic. Do the Maths. Now when you put it like that can we get Cisak back?

I'm sorry, to me it isn't 'who they were' so to speak, it is where they are at the minute. & in my opinion, Paul Henderson is a much better choice than Rab Douglas. To be honest, I cannot believe this debate is happening.
Tevez Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 What about Logan? Shit!! Forgot about him. I'm sorry, to me it isn't 'who they were' so to speak, it is where they are at the minute. & in my opinion, Paul Henderson is a much better choice than Rab Douglas. To be honest, I cannot believe this debate is happening. It's happening because we're in this current situation. You've got two goalkeepers on loan elsewhere, Douglas and Henderson. But could you name me one game Henderson has played well in? But Douglas has gone on loan to Plymouth and their fans were loving him. Who did they beat again? Bristol City, if we're not talking about the past you've got to say he's kept out one of the in-form teams in the league.
Thracian Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 I would personally feel more uncomfortable with Rab in goal. I suppose you want Kaebi back too?.

But Henderson also kept a clean sheet against those, & also in this game we squandered 20+ chances so maybe if we are looking to blame people for our current situation we should be looking in other areas of the pitch, should we not?
Tilley Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 I suppose you want Kaebi back too?. Not at all. I think he was a overhyped 'world cup star signing.' Who couldn't speak the lingo & was way out of his depth in English football. He was fast, but that was it. Maybe we will see him in the 100m at 2012.

DB11 Posted 6 April 2008 Posted 6 April 2008 Shove your fooking radio up your arse. You don't know fook all. Henderson was shit.
syston_fox Posted 6 April 2008 Posted 6 April 2008 Hang on... Hendersons been fine since he came in to replace Alnwick. Makes one mistake and suddenly he's the scapegoat. 8 games, 3 clean sheets and off the top of my head I can only recall 2 mistakes - one against Hull to give away a penalty (which he then saved) and letting the free kick in yesterday. I know he should have saved it but the slippery conditions, deflection and the face it bounced in front of him made it far from routine. Even the likes of Fulop made the odd mistake here and there!
dandannieldanok Posted 6 April 2008 Posted 6 April 2008 We're looking at scraping the barrel here, but who would you rather have? Henderson at Bradford or Douglas from Celtic. Do the Maths. OK if you are going on that basis, would you rather have Elvis Hammond from Championship club Leicester or Aaron McLean from League 2 club Peterborough?
Tevez Posted 6 April 2008 Posted 6 April 2008 OK if you are going on that basis, would you rather have Elvis Hammond from Championship club Leicester or Aaron McLean from League 2 club Peterborough? Elvis Hammond, proved he can score in the Championship. Whilst, wait there Aaron Mclean? League 2 and Conference. Well done.

Yes but didn't have a mare at QPR and a mare at Southampton when Fulop went back?? Come on mate the guy is not good enough to keep goal in this league you have to a agree at best he is very inconsistant with his shot stopping and thats supopse to be his main strength! In regards to Logan, I like him but he can't even get in a Stockport at the minute, which isn't enhancing his reptuation much.
