Henderson Appreciation Thread

Henderson has been good recently, certainly better than what we have seen from him in the past! however he is prone to make the odd mistake still, against Hull i know he saved the penalty but he stupidly ran out of the goal a rush of blood to the head, it wasn't the only time he did that in the game rushing out of he goal needlessly, i also feel that his commanding of the box isn't great, but he's our only option at this moment

Does an in-form player always deserve an Appreciation Thread? It's about time Henderson put in a good performance, been waiting for one since he joined.

You muppet! we conceeded 2 goals in the 2nd forest game. We were 2-1 down! before we scored 2 in the last 4 or 5 mins. The defence was not great at all, it took a few games for them to adapt to fulop in goal. I wish people would get over fulop. Yes he was great for the club, one of the best keepers we've had in recent years, but he's gone now! We have far bigger problems than a new keeper. Hendo, Conrad or Alnwick (if he stays, doubt it) are fine between the sticks. We need a decent striker and someone who can create something in the middle.

Henderson has been on good form considering he has stepped in and not played nearly all season. It would be very harsh to drop him for alnwick....

time of the month?

dont worry it will be over in a couple of days my old fruit

im only joking so please dont bite my head off now

Well said Tevez.

Henderson was excellent on Saturday, but that doesnt make up for the other errors that he has made whilst he has been at the club.

Still hopefully he can prove some of us wrong and have good performaces in him till the end of the season, so that he can deserve this thread.

And then when he makes a meal of something, there will always be someone to get on his back constantly

I don't think he deserves an Appreciation thread just yet, maybe if he keeps us up. I've been very impressed with his improved performances recently. I still don't feel as confident with him between the sticks as I did with Fulop or Alnwick, because he doesn't command his area enough. He was piss poor against Southampton and QPR away, something I won't forgive him for.

None the less, keep up the good work Hendo.

Hands off, he's mine.

A good point. Just because a player is playing well, doesnt mean they deserve a bit of praise, i mean, it goes against nearly every other thread on here where every ****er is moaning about the players or the manager! Try and see the positive when there is one! There is hardly ever any good reviews about players or the club on here so well done for having one.

lol

Could of stopped both of Hulls goals. Didn't.

How could he?

His defence could have done a damn site better for him!

Caleb Folans had no power behind it all he was increadible slow to react, There have been loads of goals he's let in because he reacts slow, WBA as well that was perfectly stoppable,, defelected but still stoppable, but as I've said goalkeepers often get praised for what they stop and don't get critised for what they could of stopped unless it's blatently obvious.

It's a shame people seem to have forgotten how good Fulop was already.

Not me ManPabs, that's the level of goalkeeper we need, Hendo was always my third choice!!!

It's just typical of this forum, goalkeeper saves one shit penalty by guessing the right way, goalkeeper = hero, people claim they always rated Henderson and oh look they were right he saved a pen uhhh look how good he is wooowwweeyyyyyy never mind the fact that he plays like a League One keeper most of the time can't kick to save his life and is reposible for the odd game or 7 a season. It's why I can't be arsed with it anymore
