Thracian Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 If Holloway doesn't banish his team's nerves today, rid their minds of all uncertainty, stop pissing about with hedging tactics and get the game by the bollocks from the off then today's outcome could easily be disastrous. This applies as much if we go a goal up or a goal behind. We need to keep the ball, move it on fast, support and defend in numbers and seek out one goal after another instead of believing the job might be as good as done if we get a break. Today is not about finding one hero it's about finding a team full, a committed team of people prepared to relish and meet the challenge and determined to make a mighty statement about their own worth. Coolness is vital but not negativity in any form. To a man we must be focused and ruthless. When the ball is lost we should hunt it down like an escaped representation of evil and seek no respite until it is recovered and despatched into the strangling clutches of the S****horpe net. I don't want to hear the friendly voice of the announcer or the family fun banter of The Birch, cos that's no way to turn The Walkers into a cauldron of simmering intimidation. This is a day for focused aggression and the fans need to show it as much as the players. It's a day to live and to die for the goal. We have to assume that S****horpe will feel like that and we have to make them suffer. In football terms we need to rip their fecking throats out.

I think it will go 1 of 2 ways today big win like the Norwich game or last minute gutter like Preston
Simi Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 If we go a goal behind today I really do fear the worst for us.

But two more displays to match that on Saturday, both on and off the pitch, might just be enough to retain our place in this division.
Daggers Posted 31 March 2008 Posted 31 March 2008 Better not be those nazi sharks - I bloody hate them nazi sharks.
