danny. Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 It was bloody ridiculous. Weso was one of the main reasons we were doing so well. Once Clemence took his place we became indifferent and is injury suggbested he was never properly fitin the first place. Thankfully the side stabilised well enough with the introdWEso had reported some uction of N'Gotty but why Holloway had felt the need to change things when we were doing so well I cannot imagine unless Weso had reported some tightness or fatigue. exactly.
Ultra Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 Three invaluable points, and a result that virtually ends the iron's survival hopes and brings other sides (Norwich and Blackpool) back into the relegation dogfight. Despite difficult conditions, and a ref who was way too fond of the sound of his own whistle (to the detriment of both sides), the side showed plenty of spirit and commitment, which made a change from the dross we've seen too often in recent weeks. The presence of Geoff Horsfield in the visiting ranks also gave us reassurance. He looked ready for the knacker's yard a year ago, and has deteriorated even further since then! But credit is due to Howard, Hendrie and Bell in particular. Let's hope standards don't slip next week and we can finally post back-to-back wins,
Raj Posted 31 March 2008 Posted 31 March 2008 Lovely strike by Mr Hendrie. Fatty Fryatt should have bagged a brace with his headers. Apart from that,it was pretty crap!!!! And it was bloody cold too!

Darkzzz_ Posted 31 March 2008 Posted 31 March 2008 I firmly believe that a win against Sheff U will push us on to survival!! But don't quote me on that!! Come City!
Prem Express Posted 31 March 2008 Posted 31 March 2008 Much thankingness for helping to push our six-fingered friends closer to the drop. We'll miss them. I think one more win will see you safe, TBH. Good luck.

Good luck. dunno could be close this year, I think someone could go down with 50 points this year, maybe even more, hopefully because of our ridiculously high goal differnence given our position, we should be alright with 4 more points.
