Jonezy Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 We grinded out a win.... Pheew, relief for the day....
LeeCovFox Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Well we won I guess. We sounded really poor though.
Mort Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Still (at the risk of sounding like Thracian) making life hard for ourselves... slow forwards, counterintuative substitutions (admitedly affected by Clem's injury, but still...), to put it simply we could have done better and had the players to do better. But a very important three points for us, but we've got to find ourselves another six IMO to be absolutley sure of saftey.
Uncle Albert Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Scrappy 1-0 win. Maybe Hendrie to get the goal in the second half.COME ON YOU BLUE BOYS! I wasnt far off. COME ON YOU BLUE BOYS!
NewquayFox Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 That will feckin do me folks, some good results around to help as well. ;0)
stevie909 Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 we can't be diaapointed with this. we got the result we wanted, and it sounds like we controlled from start to finish.
Ozwin Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Whenever the ball came near our area I was worried something would happen. Thankful the painful 45 minute second half is over though.
Guest shearfox Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 There was huge pressure on that game and the boys delivered fantastic.
STUHILL Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 In poor conditions, very good result. Performance doesnt matter anymore. Just the points!!!
STUHILL Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 5 games to go, and so many teams in the fight, even Blackpool, only 3 points away from us. Great 3 points!! Chuffed!!

He replaced Wesolwski with him so I'll be interested to hear what everyone thought of that decision.
Lets Be having You Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 a wins a win,its 3 points more, just hope we can win our other home games,we should be ok,southampton in freefall
Moreton Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 1-0 Performance wasn't all that good but when your in the situation that we are in the result is all that matters at the end of the day.

He replaced Wesolwski with so I'll be interested to hear what everyone thought of that decision. Hopefully they report back that he has played well and he can now get a run of games in the team. From Walshies and Barbers gab it sounds like he didnt have a bad game at all.
rob-blue-fox Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Whenever the ball came near our area I was worried something would happen. Thankful the painful 45 minute second half is over though. painfull 50 minute second half
purpleronnie Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 I've said it before and I'll say it again Holloway has got a good side we just need a good striker. Not only am I hopefull we'll stay up, I think next season we can do well.
Smiffy Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Well, didn't sound like we played very well, but we finally managed to grind out a win. The 4-1's are great but we need the 1-0's to survive!
