Daggers Posted 30 April 2008 Posted 30 April 2008 I hope it would inspire them but with this bunch i doubt it. The Pope juggling flaming sticks while Girls Aloud popped ping-pong balls from their muffs wouldn't raise inspiration in this team. They are dead from the neck up. It's not Ollie's fault, we have a team of zombies. Inverse zombies. They aren't going to rise up.

Daggers Posted 30 April 2008 Posted 30 April 2008 The idea that fans would whisper good news to each other for fear that players may overhear conjures a great mental image
Bryn Posted 30 April 2008 Posted 30 April 2008 The way it seems our players care you'd have trouble telling them the current score against Stoke That's actually funny. I... I actually laughed.
Matt Posted 2 May 2008 Posted 2 May 2008 I'd tell them the wrong score, if you say Southampton are winning whether it's true or not they might actually buck up their ideas and try to win our mathc at Stoke. I intially thought that but as already said with these players they drop their heads and think "Fuk we're down, we may aswell not even try". Another group of players, it might make them try, work hard, work to get themselves out this posision, not with this group I doubt very much.
Free Falling Foxes Posted 2 May 2008 Posted 2 May 2008 I think you can relie on the Stoke fans to do that: Sudden cheer followed by a chorus of: Going down, Going down, Going down................ Will let our players know.
