Father Ted Posted 8 May 2008 Posted 8 May 2008 Ollie's gone and new manager named! Milan Mandaric has made his mind up to sack Ian Holloway, according to Sky Sports. It is also reported that a new manager has been appointed but has not been named yet, but it is believed that he is between the age of 55-65 and has no managerial experience. It is also believed that he is a member of a Leicester City football forum and was appointed after fans wanted him in. It is believed that there will be a press conference tommorow (Friday) at 10am which will confirm the departure of Holloway and the name of the new manager. More details will be released soon.
Linekaaaah Posted 8 May 2008 Posted 8 May 2008 Pffft I just trawled through every single page here. Basts. Anyway, Steve Walsh is on Radio Leicester after the news...

Just looked on Newsnow.co.uk and the Sky Sports website (Under the Leicester section on the Sky Sports site) there is fuk all on either site. And your giggle smiley doesn't put much belief to this story in my mind.

Daggers Posted 8 May 2008 Posted 8 May 2008 I am prepared to put money on the fact that I know our manager for next season...and it's the same one we currently have. I can not see MM taking the (guesstimate) £1million hit to fire and hire and new management team, I really can't. There won't be a press conference, there'll be a press release. Who's man enough to take me up on the bet? I'm so confident I'm willing to stake ten of Her Majesty's finest new pennies. Yup - you heard right - TEN!

Yup - you heard right - TEN! I agree, Milan's been back for 24 hours now and it hasn't happened. Considering he sacked Martin Allen in the car park of the hospital the night Clive Clarke collapsed, Milan isn't the type of guy to take his time.

Considering he sacked Martin Allen in the car park of the hospital the night Clive Clarke collapsed, Milan isn't the type of guy to take his time. Maybe this time he is actually listening to advice and taking his time. He may well be adding up the financial cost of sacking Holloway and his backroom staff. This would presumably be a considerable amount of cash which we could otherwise invest in badle needed players. I wonder if Holloway's pay decreases on relegation like that of the playing staff?
