Now Is Time To Stick By The Club.

To the fans throwing their dummies out the pram because Holloway is all but staying.

Please, do not stop supporting your club.

Get a season ticket, stick by them through the tough times, look at Leeds, they've had 30k+ all season & they are on the way to bouncing straight back up.

Next season is going to be very tough, don't get me wrong, but we can do it. We have the foundations, we have the owner, the ground, the fans & yes Ian Holloway can lead us back up.

Don't give up on Leicester City.

They need you now more than ever, please don't give up.

Get down the Walkers, renew your tickets, & hopefully see you in August.

It's FC Mandaric now.

The owner doesn't give a toss about the city or the fans, just the money he can extract from us.

Well now he'll see that the cash flow will soon dry up.

No amount of media hype will save him.

Oh well, whether MM is still there, IH is there or not, I will still be down the Walkers, whether were in the Premier League or Blue Square Premier.

It's through the hard times this club needs us fans the most.

Yes, l know Mandaric has made mistakes don't get me wrong. But why not just let it go? What's done is done. There's no point continuing to slate the Chairman and Manager. Why not focus on something else? The real problem is the playing squad, why not address their complete incompetence on the pitch, because they are the real reason we're down where we are.

You forget what state this club was in when they took over. Levein and board who appointed him should shoulder most of the blame.

I agree MF. But that isn't going to stop me following my club.

I just wish other fans would see it that way.

Get off their backs, & give them all their support. I know we've done this for seasons now, but next season, Leicester City need their supporters more than ever.

& for people to throw the blame completely at Holloways feet is completely unfair.

I agree that we should get behind both Ollie & Mandaric.

They have both made decisions that I do not agree with since they arrived at the club but it looks like they are both here to stay so I think we should all get behind them. After all, we stand a lot better chance of success with a united front than we do with half the fanbase calling for the manager's head.

We'll always be there, we just like a moan, everyone has their own opinion. I've always thought 2 ways through this, let them get us out of this mess and prove it to us, plan b.. Mike Newell.

I'm still positive in a kind of negative type way

And that strategy has served us so well this season, hasn't it?

Just because Mandaric is in denial about the source of our issues, doesn't me we have to be.

But we have to face facts. Mandaric is not going anywhere and nor is Ollie by the looks of things so why waste time & effort trying to get rid of them?

It's not going to happen & at the end of the day we are all supporters of the club. They are the men in charge of our club so we should support them too.

Just how crap does a manager have to be before you get rid?

I'll support this club to the day I die, but there's no way I'll continue to line the pockets of those who have subjected it to degradation and humiliation.

Can't defend Ollie on that one. He had plenty of time to save us & wasn't up to the job. I don't think he's the right man to lead us forwards but if Mandaric decides that he is, there is nothing we can do about it.

I will still be there supporting the 11 we put out every week regardless of whether we have Alex Ferguson, Ian Holloway or even *cough* Dennis Wise in charge. Its the club that I support & if that means I have to put up with the shit that comes with it then I guess thats the way it is.

Old git here

I`ve supported City since 1963, and this isn`t leicester City. The Owner isn`t City, the manager ain`t City, and the majority of the players aren`t City.

If you are old enough, you will know what i`m on about - if not, well we used to have managers whose IQ registerd, on the scale, and bright, clever players.

I don`t want any thing to do with this shower of shite. Will support my daughters park team - more skillful players, and a manager who can walk and chew gum at the same time, and most importantly - "owned" by those who care.

Fair enough points Mr.

BUT in football nowadays there arent many players, managers, owners who have any affiliation to the club they play for.

Look at any team and they will be lucky to have 3-4 players born in the city they play for.

Tis all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I'm wondering the last time that was? People need to get real and understand what football is these days. We don't have medicine balls any more. There are few clubs with "local" owners - probably none that are successfull.

Whilst Holloway has been total sh*te, we were this crap when we were owned by the previous set of "caring" board's. Remember the gang of three days, remember shipman, remember how we have always had a board that didn't care about anything other than themselves - even if you dislike MM - how are things worse in that respect - especially as the guy has made provisions for playing staff more than anyone has for a very long time.

We no longer have anyone "local" who "cares" and can "afford" to run a football club the size of Leicester - so please people get over it. Most of our issues are long term and stretch back years and years. I hope and pray Div 1 will do us a favour and once and forall drive it out - MM has not created it but he has damn sure tried to get rid of it - unfortunately so far with no success although if we had a little bit of luck it might have been very different. Megson not walking out, Kisnorbo's recinded sending's off, penalties that were not penalites (southampton at home? - that cost us very very dear).

I would add, so far the man that is not local and does not care - MM - is sticking by the club even in this disaster. This is despite some of the "local caring fans" who are not.

Your analysis is completely flawed.

The previous board didn't pretend to have money. They ensured we spent within our means so that we would not be racked up with debt. They knew there was not going to be a short term fix. We did not get relegated under them and had a damn site more stability than we have now, the stability that people are crying out for.

I'm trying to remember the days when we had a board who cared about nothing but themselves. I'm struggling to find it. Take the previous board again. Some of them put money into the club, which they knew they would not get back. There is this assumption in football that board members are sh*ts who give **** all for the club. It is similar with Milan. He obviously wants to see us succeed, despite critics, whether it's through motivation of profit on his investment or a new found love for the club. The question is his application. He seems to have a larger appetite for risk, increasing the debts at the club to buy players and increase the wage bill.

To determine loyalty and love for a club on how much money a board or chairman lavishes on a club is braindead logic. In our current situation, Milan is increasing the debts of the club supplying transfer fees and increasing the wage bill. Personally, I don't agree with this way of managing the club, but then time will tell who is right, and I would rather it is Mandaric than me. Either way, to determine love for the club on how much money is lavished by a chairman is wrong.

If money was the yardstick to measure loyalty for the club, then corporate fans would be better fans than those in the kop.

I can see your points and can agree to some extent, however the previous board was slightly different in that it was a mercy/rescue mission. Unfortunately they were too running the club into the ground as the finances showed. Year on year we were getting more and more into trouble again, and whilst I can not claim to have any knowledge, people who are in a position to have the knowledge "claim" that we were about to go under again. So on this basis I think you are mistaken they were running the club well (not because they were poor at it - but because it was impossible with the finances we had).

I also never claimed that MM "loves" the club - only - who ever has, ahead of themselves? I do feel though that whilst MM primary interest is himself and money, he does have "feeling" for the game itself - which is a lot more than some owners show these days. However I would mention, that whilst I am a fan of what MM has tried to achieve, I am not so blinded as to not feel nausea everytime an annoucement is made "because of how great the fans are".

But yes overall money is not the be all and end all of "love" with the club (I don't see again where I am saying this - my point was about whats with locality). However in football it helps us survive. In our situation, strangely, everytime we have had any (money) - we just shoot ourselves in the foot.

That statement is completely false. It was spread around the boards by those who were desperate to see Mandaric take over this club.

A source on the previous board said there were contingency plans (probably involving player sales) in place. Administration was not an option, and wouldn't be now, even if anything happened to Mandaric.

That previous board wasn't particularly successful in finding quality managers, but at least it didn't let them blow millions like the current owner has done.

if this is the case he is not doing very well is he

Wait until the summer transfer market starts...

Wasn't there a comment by Holloway yesterday something along the lines of 'the players and their agents are in for a big suprise' ?

This, to me, would seem to indicate that Milan is going to put unrealistically high price tags on our better players so that other clubs are put off from buying them.

Any other interpretations?
