Ajax Treesdown Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 Commons Earnshaw Commons - 3 year deal with 'bitter' rivals!!!
Sparky Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 Bet Finners is well chuffed , his favorite player having a stint at Derby then going Forest . Actually i remember a thread where i said Dean Ashton would make a better player but i got shot down
DBEightyFive Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 I like the Derby suck reference that has snuck on Kris Commons' page!!
Koke Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 I reckon Forest got the better of the two deals. Commons is a good player at this level, but Earnshaw will piss on this league and score for fun.
joely22 Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 Commons on a free and £2million+ for Earnmore. In all honesty, they have got a player that will score in the Championship but there's a reason why two managers haven't played him this season. Am glad to see the back of him to be honest. As for Commons... Anyone is better than Eddie 'The Ammo' Lewis.

joely22 Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 I have my sources Ched, I have my sources. Also... Remind me on how I correctly predicted Megson as your manager around November time?!
Simi Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 I have my sources Ched, I have my sources.Also... Remind me on how I correctly predicted Megson as your manager around November time?! Well November would of been a poor shout being as he'd been and gone by then.
joely22 Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 Well November would of been a poor shout being as he'd been and gone by then. Well whenever it was! 6 weeks before that then!!
joely22 Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 Joely, can you tell us if we'll get promoted next year? Let me look into my crystal ball... You will go to Wembley at least once...
SamL Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 Let me look into my crystal ball...You will go to Wembley at least once... I like your thinking.
lildave3 Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 I reckon Forest got the better of the two deals. Commons is a good player at this level, but Earnshaw will piss on this league and score for fun. They now have 3 quality strikers imo. Where does that McGugan play aswell? He's not bad.
syston_fox Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 Let me look into my crystal ball...You will go to Wembley at least once... Leicester City or just Karim??
Ultra Posted 13 May 2008 Posted 13 May 2008 Not certain that Earnshaw will go to Forest. Sheffield United have also put in a bid for him.
Finnegan Posted 13 May 2008 Posted 13 May 2008 Be gobsmacked if he goes to Forest over Sheffield United. And last I heard Derby were going to accept a £1m offer from Cardiff for him? What happened to that? If he goes to Forest then I have to say Ched Evans is officially the new Number One. He's pretty much proven to be one of the best, if not the best, goalscorer at Championship level, I understand he's a difficult player to get along with but I really will be stunned if the only club he can get is a newly promoted Championship side. Jesus. there's a reason why two managers haven't played him this season. Yeah, same reason you're going down.
Jack Posted 13 May 2008 Posted 13 May 2008 Wherever Earnshaw goes in the championship his is guaranteed to score plenty of goals. Very good player in that division.
SamL Posted 13 May 2008 Posted 13 May 2008 Leicester City or just Karim?? Earnshaw would be a quality signing for any team in the Championship. Commons is an OK player, a bit too lazy for my liking and needs to improve his attitude.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 13 May 2008 Posted 13 May 2008 My mate is a Derby season ticket holder. I said to him that I couldn't understand WBA and Derby not playing Earnie. Told me Earnie has a drinking problem.

Jesus. HAHA. No disrespect you Welsh boyo or Ched but Ched Evans' goalscoring record last year was hardly impressive.
Simi Posted 13 May 2008 Posted 13 May 2008 HAHA. No disrespect you Welsh boyo or Ched but Ched Evans' goalscoring record last year was hardly impressive. "Ched" as in me has nothing to do with Wales, Ched Evans or anything like that.
joely22 Posted 13 May 2008 Posted 13 May 2008 Told me Earnie has a drinking problem. Well you've got to have a certain amount of alcohol in your blood to buy a Hummer haven't you?!
Finnegan Posted 13 May 2008 Posted 13 May 2008 HAHA. No disrespect you Welsh boyo or Ched but Ched Evans' goalscoring record last year was hardly impressive. I meant Earnshaw, clearly.
act smiley Posted 13 May 2008 Posted 13 May 2008 My mate is a Derby season ticket holder. I said to him that I couldn't understand WBA and Derby not playing Earnie. Told me Earnie has a drinking problem. So why is he going to Forest when he could fit right in here? As for Ched Evans, he's a good player and the goal he scored early this season against Cardiff was an absolute belter.
