mmarkie Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Do you think he will stay and if yes will he be our no.1
Father Ted Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Do you think he will stay and if yes will he be our no.1 I think he will stay. I've always liked him as a goalie, a big kick and fills the goal well.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 I think he will stay. I've always liked him as a goalie, a big kick and fills the goal well. Thers no need for subtle insults. I happen to think hes lost rather a lot of weight.
WetFlannel Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 I think he will stay. I've always liked him as a goalie, a big kick and fills the goal well. Not in the good kind though.
davieG Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Do you think he will stay and if yes will he be our no.1 Don't know & No.
Father Ted Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Thers no need for subtle insults. I happen to think hes lost rather a lot of weight. It wasn't an insult He is just very strong and fills his goal well. As in the way Fulop did and Henderson doesn't. If you get what I mean.
sdb Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 hope not. dropping down a league wont make him a good keeper
Matt Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 From what I heard last week I don't think he plays to often for Stockport (They were saying on Sky last week, It was a "shock change" and Logan was in goal) can anyone confirm this From what I saw last week he still looked clumsy, He loves coming out his area and ramming or pushing people over, but he did keep a clean sheet and made a few decent saves, I wouldn't be to confident with him in goal based on that one game but it was only one game.

I believe that he has played the majority of the season but was discarded after being sent off in February. Was recently recalled for play-offs, hence the "shock change."

Do you think we will keep Hendo?

Father Ted Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Fulop doesn't? He's well over six foot! I said Fulop does.

Was recently recalled for play-offs, hence the "shock change." Stockport's current first-choice keeper is injured. Logan did OK last week. Would be happy to have him back as a back-up to Hendo, but I'm not sure he's ready to be our top keeper just yet.
Tilley Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Logan may come back, But I really do doubt he will be our number one.

Ruddy is on loan there I think, that's why he is number 2.
Father Ted Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Ruddy is on loan there I think, that's why he is number 2. Oh right, if it's Ruddy, he is a very good goalkeeper. I remember when he played a couple of games as cover for Everton a couple of seasons back and he was excellent.
bigneville Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 I'm almost certain he will come back here and be the number two to Henderson. Having seen Logan a few times, he certainly has ability to be a number one in the long term at this level, but isnt quite ready for the starting spot, as his decision making is still very niave and rash. Given some pitch time next season as a deputy for Henderson should be the scenario for Logan next season. But our aim is to get up to the Championship, and Logan for me, doesnt have the potential to keep clean sheets at championship level. His career will be in the lower leagues, so his long term future shouldn't be with Leicester City.
morris1234 Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 i think he'll stay! i dont think hes that fat as some people seem to be suggesting, its like paddy kenny he was always getting called fat but when there was a sheff united feature and soccer am once, one of the coaches was saying he had the lowest bmi at the club. some nice saves in here -

smokey Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 great save on 2.08 in that vid! Logan starts today so will be interesting how he does! I think he is ok keeper and will fight it out with Hendo next season!
morris1234 Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 yeah hopefully he has a good game today, in a way i want stockport to win because of conrad but i want us to steal liam dickinson and if they come up which i thin they will then we might have to pay quite a bit more but its not up to me
Wycombe Fox Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 Stockport commentators saying that Logan was at fault with Rochdale's first goal. "Too slow to come out"
sdb Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 29 min: "Tim," starts Sean Clothier. Good old, Tim. "If McNulty fails to win his side promotion, is there any chance he'll be working for the coastguard next year, with hilarious consequences?" That comment is a lot funnier if you've seen The Wire. Looking at the replay of the goal, Logan wasn't blocked, just a bit fat and slow. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/ma...ball.stockport1 oh conrad
