Lichfieldfox. Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 Both teams in same league now - does he return as no 2, stay on loan or get sold........
Father Ted Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 OH MY GOD!! Paddy Kenny in the making I tell you Both fat bastard\'s and both Irish
Ultra Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 I think Logan would be quite pleased to have the same kind of career as Paddy Kenny. Don't think it will happen on today's showing, though..
bigneville Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 Stockport commentators saying that Logan was at fault with Rochdale's first goal."Too slow to come out" His goalkeeping was terrible for the first goal. Why oh why did he position himself behind the two players. He just stood there with his arms up. He needed to be pro-active and get in front, seemed to lack the presence to do so. He also didn't learn from his error and continued to do the same thing for corners later in the game. This is just one of the reasons the bloke isn't ready for Leicester City first team football, he will benefit from another season out of loan somewhere for me. Just not ready for us.
barmy76uk Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Great keeper and has been first choice all season but missed a few games after he was suspended,Stockport fans tip him very highly! He is a much better keeper than Henderson who is a total liability! Welcome back Conrad!

Jonbluefox9 Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 If Logan isn't good enough to be our number one by now then I don't think he ever will be. We're the lowest we've ever been as a football club and he's got a fair number of games under his belt now (even at a higher level) so if he isn't good enough to replace Henderson at this point I don't think there's much hope for him. Personally I think he's a decent 'keeper but lacks composure which has been evident whilst playing for us in the past. Can't see him being our number one next season though. It'll be up to him whether he's happy to stay as back-up here or go to find first team football elsewhere.
Joe. Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 I just think we need a new keeper. Don't mind keeping Henderson or Logan for backup but one needs to go and we need a solid keeper as a replacement.
Shrenchel Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Henderson is easily a decent League One keeper. Milan has said he's not gunna splash much cash around so I'd rather he spent in the areas which we really need it.

Surely it doesn't matter what division you're in for a goalkeeper to be decent?
Father Ted Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 i think he'll stay! i dont think hes that fat as some people seem to be suggesting, its like paddy kenny he was always getting called fat but when there was a sheff united feature and soccer am once, one of the coaches was saying he had the lowest bmi at the club. some nice saves in here - Some class keeping in there! That could be what we need or what we don't need He could be a very good goalie for us.
Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 I think he's got a lot of ability & pulls off the spectacular saves but, as others seem to have picked up on as well, I would question his decision-making and positioning from time to time. I think this is mostly inexperience though so I think he has a decent amount of potential & would be happy to see him come back here to provide some competition for Hendo.
filbertway Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 I really don't understand it when people say a decent "League One" keeper. Surely it doesn't matter what division you're in for a goalkeeper to be decent? Well, shots will be less accurate and powerful. Crosses will probably be of a lower standard. That sort of thing.
Thracian Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 We'll probably sign a foreigner with a fancy name who's been on the books (catering, stewarding, whatever) of Olympiakos, Ajax, Real Madrid or all three. Conrad might look like a Dane or a Swede but he's English, he's boringly ex-Academy and the name Logan is about as commonplace as Smith and Jones. He's probably got no chance. :rolleyes PS: Interesting there was a programme on telly tonight pointing out the problem of so few English players in the Premiership and saying it was affecting the national team and, that the authorities seem to want a restricted on the number of foreigners in teams. The call was made for English clubs to train up more natives so the trend is changed. It just shows I suppose. People do wake up in the end. Whether they'll do anything is another matter.
barmy76uk Posted 28 May 2008 Posted 28 May 2008 I thought he was Irish. He was born and brought up in Ireland so i would say hes definately Irish! He was born in donegal.

bigneville Posted 28 May 2008 Posted 28 May 2008 He's Irish, just like Shee han Who's that? Any good?
The People's Hero Posted 28 May 2008 Posted 28 May 2008 Logan will make even the best save look good. His anticipation and positioning aren't up to it, from what I can remember. Having said that, it'll all be down to the new manager and of course who sticks around out of the existing bunch.
Thracian Posted 28 May 2008 Posted 28 May 2008 He's Irish, just like Shee han Just shows that I'd virtually forgotten his existence. Perhaps he has got a chance then.
