Matt Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 Milan's just been interviewed on SSN. Key points to report; 20 Applicants - Mostly UK based. These will be looked out this week and pruned down to around 4 candidates. Reported as the question - Will the manager have a clause in his contract that he must gain promotion at the first attempt - Milan dodged the question and talking around it, basically I think the answer is yes. Will there be funds available for the new manager? Of course. A new manager will be announced in around 2 weeks times.

Good good, we just need to get someone in here quick so we might have a chance of keeping some of our better players.

It's unlikely that Milan would go into the details of the contract before it's even been created nevermind signed. Needless to say such a clause would be a f**king stupid idea because, particularly after bigneville's work in the other thread, we may well not be promoted straight away and if we aren't the last thing we want is ANOTHER manager. The club is already a joke, we don't want it to become a farce.
stez Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 i have no confidence that milan will pick a decent manager. his track record here and elsewhere is not good, except for harry redknapp.

Its about the calibre of the applicants. We desperately need the right man this time(i know we've said it the last few times but this time it REALLY is essential!!!!!! ) Pick the right man, else it could be more doom!!!) (i love the positivity i add to this forum when im in a shite mood!!!!)
davieG Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 Well he had a short list of 5 last week according to Blanderson. The Mockery and Mandaric - it's like Porkies United.
AmericanScott Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 I actually sent an application. I bet there are 16 FT members that sent their applications and only 4 real managers applied. I hope one of us gets it x]
SamL Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 20 applicants sounds promising, surely one of them has the credentials to do well for us.
Zingari Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 the benefits agency told me i had to apply or they would reduce my dole money
davieG Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 I actually sent an application.I bet there are 16 FT members that sent their applications and only 4 real managers applied. I hope one of us gets it x] I believe he actually said 20 serious applicants so I make that 20 FT members the rest are also rans, serial failures, criminally tainted, being cared for in the community and general brown nosers.
Matt Posted 31 May 2008 Author Posted 31 May 2008 20 applicants sounds promising, surely one of them has the credentials to do well for us. But do you have the faith in Milan to pick that one? I have my doubts and fears. If there two people who had applied, and these two people were Alex Ferguson and Peter Taylor, I'd put my money on Milan picking Taylor.
davieG Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 20 applicants sounds promising, surely one of them has the credentials to do well for us. 20 applicants sounds awful, can you actually think of 20 respected managers out there.
dandannieldanok Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 20 applicants = John Gregory accidently clicking to send his email application 19 times and Peter Reid.
Zingari Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 20 applicants sounds awful, can you actually think of 20 respected managers out there. there's no pleasing some people , what number of applicants would be ideal ?

Im a brown noser. And brown cheeks Brown arms brown legs brown........
Zingari Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 Im a brown noser. And brown cheeks Brown arms brown legs brown........ sauce ???
davieG Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 there's no pleasing some people , what number of applicants would be ideal ? Well if Mandaric's choosing - Just One, the right one
davieG Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 Im a brown noser. And brown cheeks Brown arms brown legs brown........ Being a twat though you wouldn't smell of shit would you?
SamL Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 20 applicants sounds awful, can you actually think of 20 respected managers out there. I'm suprised that there are 20 managers who want to manage us considering our record. Steve Walsh seems to think Sam Allardyce would be a good choice, I wouldn't mind him.
Zingari Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 Well if Mandaric's choosing - Just One, the right one yes ; that would take away any risk of him getting it wrong

You get people admitting to crimes they didn't commit in order to improve their life style by going to jail, I'm sure there are plenty of nuttersout there willing to work for Mandaric, I hear the money's pretty good.

Raj Posted 31 May 2008 Posted 31 May 2008 Being a twat though you wouldn't smell of shit would you? I dont smell of shit....i just talk shit!!!! Enjoy the weekend Boys and Girls....
