Walsh, who spent 14 years with City and made more than 450 appearances, is adamant the Foxes must not cut corners after their relegation to League One. Walsh told BBC Radio Leicester: "We've got to spend a few quid on a manager this time and really go for the top." Foxes chairman Milan Mandaric is still waiting to see if he will be allowed to talk to MK Dons manager Paul Ince. But Walsh feels Mandaric is being overly optimistic in thinking they can achieve back-to-back promotions and get into the Premier League in two seasons. He added: "It would be brilliant if we could but I don't see that as being realistic but you have to target that. "I think it will take longer than that but I would love to do it in two years."
