They're reliable, durable and come up with such a great sound quality.Best bit is that you're not going to disturb others around you whilst listening to music - the Sennheisers act as some sort of suppressor. There fricking brilliant, well worth the 40quid I had to shell out for them.

Although admittedly, I think mine were the cheap ones because the sound quality was absolutely dreadful. I haven't really got any problems with the ipod ones to be honest, don't seem to be as bad as people make out to me.

There are supposedly shitloads of fake Sennheisers about, so I suggest avoid buying from Amazon traders and ebay

I love every pair of CX500s I've had, if they're fake then they're bloody good fakes. And cheap. I can't believe someone would willingly buy a set of MX's, fake or no.
