Bellend Sebastian Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 I don't suppose any of you Senny club members have a spare MEDIUM black earbud for the CX300s? (I'm looking at all you tiny/large earhole people) I've managed to lose one of mine, and I'm thrilled to see that a replacement set of five pairs with postage costs £2 less than an entire new pair of CX300s. Hurray! I will make you an offer you can easily refuse EDIT: Just got a pack of ebay for £1. No doubt absolutely genuine and of the very highest quality

Sorry, and sorry to hear about the loss of this exquisit piece of earphone equipment! (Anyone else wanna play the hero for Bastian? )

Bellend Sebastian Posted 18 July 2008 Posted 18 July 2008 Woo hoo! Having scoured the pavements on the way back to work, I found it on the floor of the office. God bless the less than thorough vacuuming skills of our office cleaner. So ends FT's most feeble and shortlived soap opera yet

I lose at least one of these on average about once a month... I think you can buy them in some HMV stores. Maybe. Maybe not. See the drama never ends.

No problemo... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sennheiser-CX300-CX-...p3911.m14.l1318 One assumes that they're not genuine. The actual headphones that are being sold look well dodgy, and I've read many times that there are a lot of fakes in circulation
Samilktray Posted 25 July 2008 Posted 25 July 2008 Dr Dre Head Phones. These are supposed to be the best head phones ever.
The Reverend Posted 29 July 2008 Posted 29 July 2008 I've just bought some cx500's. £12.50 delivered off ebay. They better be good!
The Reverend Posted 31 July 2008 Posted 31 July 2008 If you're used to iPod 'phones, you'll be amazed Wow.I can strongly commend CX500's. All the pairs on Amazon are currently going for £20 - but I'd still say they were worth it for that. They piss all over my Shure set which I paid £90 for. Stunning bass, bright treble - perfect if you like in-ear buds...which I do. What they said! The difference in quality between the CX500's and normal Ipod ones is astounding. The Ipod ones sound very 'tinny'and quieter, and there is hardly any base on the Ipod 'phones - but the CX500's blare it out loud and clear. Astonishing. £12.50, bargain. Thanks chaps!
Samilktray Posted 30 March 2009 Posted 30 March 2009 My bastard skull candy headphones packed in this week, after 3months of use. The 2nd pair aswell. Im fuming, I'm having to use Ipod headphones until the warranty is sorted. Outrage.
James. Posted 2 April 2009 Posted 2 April 2009 I bought a new pair of CX300's the other day and think I actually prefer them to the CX500's... The volume control on the 500's bothers me and the sound quality seemed to deteriorate quicker than the 300's. Plus the 300's are cheaper.

I got new CX 500's, then I got a pair for the wife for her birthday and a set for the lad for his - none of them cost me more than £12. If 300's are cheaper then I want to know where.

Where the bloody hell are you getting CX500's for £12 from?

The 2nd pair aswell.Im fuming, I'm having to use Ipod headphones until the warranty is sorted. Outrage. This is basically what you get for not listening to the entire world telling you to buy a set of Sennheisers. I adore my headphones. Being a cheapskate poorass they're naturally 300-IIs but they're still the best pair of headphones I've ever owned.
Flynny Posted 3 April 2009 Posted 3 April 2009 Anyone seen the headphones for the new shuffle? You basically have to have the apple ones cos the controls are on them. Guess whose Mum bought him one as a 'surprise' a couple of days ago?

Flynny Posted 3 April 2009 Posted 3 April 2009 Close! You'd have got additional lol points for 'Thracian' mind.
Daggers Posted 3 April 2009 Posted 3 April 2009 I guess when I say cheaper I mean that ultimately I am unable to find headphones as cheaply as you can. Where the bloody hell are you getting CX500's for £12 from? Amazon.co.uk From time to time the 'other' sellers sell them for daft money - and that is when I buy. I'm like a lion stalking the online shopping world. A lion who likes listening to music. Actually, I'm a bit fat for a lion - make that a hippo. Yes, I'm a music loving e-buying hippo. With hair. And three sets of cheap CX500's.
lefox Posted 3 April 2009 Posted 3 April 2009 the free ones with the ipod?! i don't care just don't put songs on your mobile and walk round with it blasting out the tinpot shit speakers.. why do people with bad music taste insist on doing this. ban them, or shot the people who do it.
Samilktray Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 Just bought some Sennheiser CX300-II or something. Wow, awesome.
MC Prussian Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 Just bought some Sennheiser CX300-II or something.Wow, awesome. Probably one of the best purchases you'll ever have made. And I mean it. They're reliable, durable and come up with such a great sound quality. Best bit is that you're not going to disturb others around you whilst listening to music - the Sennheisers act as some sort of suppressor.
