Syejack Posted 18 June 2008 Posted 18 June 2008 Another Posh fan here. It looks like you guys are just as pissed off as we are about the 12.00 kick off. It's a police only decision...believe me there are a lot of Poshies that are very unhappy about the change of times for the game against you, and the other bigger clubs in League One. God knows what they are going to do if we manage to get our Chairman's dream of reaching the Championship! Unfortunately...the thuggish minority have spoiled it for the 'normal' fan. Anyway...good luck for the season (except in the games against us!) and UP THE POSH!!

Katy Posted 18 June 2008 Posted 18 June 2008 Lets go to the pub after.Easy enough to do I think that's what we are planning on doing, drowning of sorrows (more likely) or celebratory (less likely) God supporting leicester all my life has turned me into a cynical barstood
lavrentis Posted 18 June 2008 Posted 18 June 2008 I'm from Lincoln and I prefer it to Leicester! So do I, it is actually a very nice city.
Corky Posted 18 June 2008 Posted 18 June 2008 Afternoon foxes,I can't believe the fuss you,re making because the local plod have changed the kick off time.....just be thankful that you've not been banned from attending......what short memories you all have. May all your visits to the lower league shiteholes this season be happy ones. According to this thread I'm just off now to count my 15 fingers, dig up some potatoes, shag my sister, and roam around the city centre trying to act harder than I actually am. Thank fook we only meet every 14 years. It's not so much that the kick-off time has been changed, it's that tosser Fry saying we "have a reputation".
Katy Posted 18 June 2008 Posted 18 June 2008 I'm from Lincoln and I prefer it to Leicester! Yes, despite it going against my principles as it is based in the lesser of the Kestevens (North) It does not mean you have won Alex
Daggers Posted 18 June 2008 Posted 18 June 2008 HAHA Can't wait til we kick the shit out of your team and Darren Ferguson gets a reality check. Have you ever heard the phrase "Counting your chickens before they have hatched"? I really think that lording it over these little teams is a tad daft considering that half of them are going to give us a spanking this season.

I'm still trying to work out which way Lee Jobber is facing on your sig Dave

Thank fook we only meet every 14 years. Short memories of what ? Having the entire Cambridgeshire police force line up in front of us in riot gear with dogs and horses ? Personally I like Posh, and was looking forward to a few beers in some of the good pubs I know. But Mr. Plod says no. He can't handle it. Thank fook we only get policed by your lot every 14 years.

Sorry, I was referring to the fact that we were banned from the filbert street fixture the following season due to building works......not that we're still bitter I've got no problems with you lot either probably as we hardly play each other. As for the fixture all those years ago yes I was there 3-0 wasn't it? ...Yes the cambs old bill were heavy handed however there was no smoke without fire that day - as one of your fellow foxes admitted earlier in this thread. Maybe they just didn't like your 2 male streakers - unlike some of the female Posh supporters who wrote to the local paper stating they hoped we played you every week after that. All the best - we're still looking forward to the fixture regardless of the lousy K.O time.

For the record, I sat in the Kop; it was the funniest.
