Worst managerial appointment of recent history?

Recommended Posts

Having very nearly sent Southampton down last year I really cant see this being a good move.

He is clearly the only yes man who wanted to work here.

Get ready for more signings (if any) of random players ala Ferrera, Kaebi etc as Pearson will just be happy being employed.

The guy has NO credentials, NO affinity to the club, NO clue, NO personality but he may just say YES at every suggestion form upstairs.

Regardless of what he achieves, at this point in time he is the worst appointment in our history.

I expect to hear the usaul "as soon as i found out Leicester were interested" spiel.

anybody but him would of been better......

If you guessed I'm not at all convinced by this

What a Nob!!!

I dont care if you hate him, if you love him, when you post stupid comments like that i dont care what you think!!

Ok so Nigel Pearson was not my first choice, but lets get behind the lad!!

Give him some support.....

I certainly will be anyway....

Are some of you seriously suggesting he is not?

I dont recall us in 20 years going for a more vacant waste of space than Pearson.

The sheer fact he is the worst candidate of ALL names mentioned I think backs this up.

Did anybody genuinely think he was one that would be appointed ???

give him 3 months maximum then its onto the next one

We need to support the new man, regardless of who he is.

100% Agreed there mate

Do you have special needs or something?

In our posistion who were you expecting to come in??

I give full credit for anyone wanting to take this job on!!

I think Nigel is a big and honest enough man to take us forward, obviously only time will tell, he done well at Southampton, very unlucky not to get the full time post there!!

Let's give him a chance, he has not even been appointed yet and there is a nigel out campaign!!

I don't think he knows Gregory was after the job..

Personally i'm not convinced by Pearson agreee with a lot of your complaints, however i will get behind him and at the moment i'm just relieved we have somebody in charge

Cal,

I do agree with you and when it comes to the start of the season I will back the team as always.

I wont pay lip service to the press conference either as its always bull shine spin.

Although didnt want Gregory either in truth.....

pearson has my backing. prove your worth nigel pearson. make your name in managment with LCFC and if you do well you may be here for a few years.

As for the comparison with his time at southampton, i am not the same employee i was when i was 14 working in my uncles factory...ever heard ov evolution?

we are a division 3 team and to get him i think we have done ok. i cant see many other league 3 teams gotting someone like him....be realisitic my fellow fox.

PS i was massivly relieved when ssn said pearson to be confirmed as lcfc boss....cos it means gregory aint got it and blanderson was worng.

PS again. Now fook off walsh and go get your badges.

You bell-end

Hello?

In answer to the forum starter, stop being such a drama queen. He might prove to be bloody brilliant for all we know.

Do we ALREADY have a contingent ready to start chanting 'Pearson out!' and questioning every single f***** thing if we don't win our first game 5-0? He's not even been officially unveiled yet

Southampton were on a downward spiral as soon as Burley left. He inherited that team and loaned in players to help him get out the shite. O.K, his 3 or 4 wins horrified me last night, but you've still got to give him a chance. We need to break this sort of mentality within the club and a f ucking revolving door is just not very f ucking healthy. So forget all that f ucking bollocks about stupid f ucking win percentages and give the man a f ucking chance, in fact, give me your f ucking crystal ball so I can see the f ucking lottery numbers for tonight. Also, if he was the only man who wants to work here, then we'd have been 'proper fuc ked' (©Tommy 'The Tit') if we didn't have him. Just give him a chance.

Wow, this news that Pearson is going to be our new manager is really tearing us fellow FT memebers apart.

To say that Pearson did well at Southampton is ridiculous..... they were as bad as us

Pearson at Southampton played 14 won 3 Lost 4 (not bad in truth) drew 7 win % 21.43

Not convinced the Saints fans would agree that he should of been kept on there
