If the sun's beating down 2pm will be unbearable.

General Smuts Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 Right i can't be arsed with all the politics about the other game so eastendtom, get a list of dates your lot can play in before the season starts. If it comes to it we can coincide it with the other game and ill take a team to this one and whoever can take a team to the other one. And we'll all meet up in the pub afterwards. Hopefully im not being to forward kind of taking charge of this one but i think thats the problem with the other one, no ones really stepping up. As this is still in the very early stages and a bloody list hasn't been started yet it'll be easier to sort. If anybody else wants to sort it or thinks of another way to sort it feel free. Step 1 - Get a list of dates. Step 2 - Check availability on here. Step 3 - Make a bloody list Step 4 - Make a decision on the day about who plays depending on who turns up. In my eyes everyone will get a game.

In my eyes everyone will get a game. gosh, i love it when you're all manly!!!! as i said, i'll post a load of dates up on sunday! in answer to a previous question, our team is basically the guys i play with during the week. all decent players who all used to play for junior teams and kind of faded away after that and just fancy the odd 11 aside to recapture the glory days. we have a couple of guys who still play saturdays at a decent level but mostly just up for the crack

You could do it the day before the Forest game. Give priority to those on the reserve list for the forest game. tbh even if it does clash with any of those events we'll get a team.
