That's what me and my mate do when we're playing against each other. The thing is that you get players who do it all the time and it gets boring because nine times out of ten you cant defend against it. Fast winger, down the wing, cuts into the box, waits for the keeper to come out automatically and pass it across the goal. Its a shit way to play the game and takes no skill.

Yeah I tell ya what, it really ruins the game when anyone has the nerve to even score against me! The lag cheat is really fucking pissing me off now.

Someone else mentioned it a couple of pages back.

Someone else mentioned it a couple of pages back. Don't think it's a cheat, happened on Pro Evo 2008, was so much laggier when you didn't have the ball...I dunno why. But the lag was so bad on that it has impossible to defend, just had to randomly press X and hope you got the ball

I am not being delusional, it has happened on a number of occasions with a number of players. It's not that the lag is bad throughout the game, like I say it is ONLY when the opposition is in attack. If you play online much, look out for it, look when your opposition is attacking the lag kicks in and your defense can't do fook all about it.

Anyway, I've learnt to live with lag and you just have to keep practicing your timing etc. I can play with and without lag now

I take it your one of those people that only scores goals like that then <_< It just makes games boring and you end up with 4-4 draws with every single goal being the same.

And, actually, I love rounding the keeper and side footing it into the net. But, if I need to guarantee a goal eg. I'm losing, then when I'm one on one I'll pass it across... unless my player is running too fast then I have to knock it past keeper.

I don't mind defeat you know that... I am fooked off because the PS3 is fooked, if I can't get it sorted and I have to pay x ammount through Sony, I may do an insurance scam

Asha Posted 11 March 2009 Posted 11 March 2009 Am down to my final 12 achievements on this now: And for 'Real World Winner', '1st time out' and the secret achievements 'Venhola Ice' and 'Duo-Hedgeidecimal' it involves the interactive league things on Live...but everytime I go on the relevant sections, which would be 'Online Leagues' 'Fifa 09 Clubs' and 'Interactive Leagues' there's no one else there...ever...to play against and then beat for the achievement. Not exactlty sure how I got about these to be honest...
