Story So Far

Hi all. Just got back of a two week holiday which wasn't great but I won't bore you with the details. Anyway, I've heard we've signed Dickov, I've seen the highlights from the two league games but nothing else and it's driving me mad! So, what do I need to know? Who's playing well? Is the music still the same at The Walkers? How's Stringer doing? And more improtantly what should the Nigeometer score be? PLEASE UPDATE ME! Many thanks!

To be honest, as Tommeh said yesterday. Pearson has had his time and he's spent his money, poorly in my opinion. Only 3 goals in three matches and to me, he seems to of lost the dressing room already.

I think I speak for most City fans when I say he's had his time and he's got to go.

Don't forget that we are only a mere three points from the drop-zone.

Answered your own question really.

Early days yet. Going to be a few twists & turns from now until May.

I wouldn't have said Leeds would have lost yesterday.

We look decent.

I had to read that three times to be sure.

Agreed, that t**t has had long enough! No more excuses! Arg!

We've signed Dickov but more as a impact sub.

We beat MK Dons comfortably, Gradel and Fryatt on top form.

Morrison and Tunchev have been very solid.

Chelsea Dagger still...

Stringer is doing fine.

Nigeometer score should be 10 ;)

Mattock also damaged his ankle ligaments

Now that's a proper update! Thanks mate.

Some of our fans are still moaning despite an unbeaten first week that's included two wins and no goals conceded.

Apart from that it's been quite enjoyable :D

No goals conceded doesn't do anything for me, a goal I cheer, a clean sleet I... meh. I'm used to us having good defensive records and failing. I'm just holding onto the hope there is nothing to read into it yet and we will focus on attack for the first time in years. <_<

Just found this on Thrac's Blog

Thracian's Nigeometer

Ongoing rantings

20/06/08 - Nigel Pearson appointed as manager. Disappointed. -3

21/06/08 - Apparently he was a defender and therefore will not encourage attack minded play. -3

26/06/08 - Despite being in his 40's, it is rumoured that he was once younger. This may encourage him to play youngsters. +12

Rating at end of June +6

I have not put any rantings together for July as my wife took me to a series of antique roadshows. Rather like Elvis Hammond however I was deemed to be of no value and I remained unsold.

09/08/08 - MK Dons, season opener. After spending a season championing the cause of Matty Fryatt I was vindicated in my assesment of his talents as he netted a well earned brace. Kingy Wingy played too. +15

09/08/08 - All of the good work has been undone as I have just realised Ickle Levi wasn't playing despite being fit. -15

12/08/08 - If Pearson cannot take the Carling Cup seriously then I can't take him seriously. How do we expect to win games 8-0 if Ickle Levi isn't introduced until the last 10 minutes? He showed classy footwork when he provided the assist that won us a throw in. -71

16/08/08 - Is Pearson listening to me or what? Kingy Wingy is holding the team together at the minute but he and Ickle Levy would work so well together. Why hasn't he started Heskey at the back yet either? -22

Current Rating -87

Hope that helps you get up to speed

The second best goals conceded record last season didn't keep us up so I agree.
