A few weeks ago they were about 7 points adrift of the playoff spots and they have lost and drew a few since then, Millwall (6th) and S****horpe (5th) have got 2 games in hand over Leeds but even if they get points out of those games Oldham (4th) are only 3 points ahead of them. We are many points ahead, but it is amazing that last week it was a potential worry that we could have been within a 1 point gap of MK Dons in 2nd, and not a huge gap between us a 3rd and we have only lost 2 all season, how many have Leeds lost (It seems loads) and they ain't that far away, I think they gave up the chase of automatic promotion a while ago but it's surprising how far up the table with alot of potential to still go up.

Grrrr, I was really hoping we would win promotion/crowned champions v Leeds but it really is a while away (10 games away) and we will have done it by then I should think. Oh well given the choice I would rather do it sooner than later but would have been nice to do it against Leeds, and at the same time make it impossible for them to hit playoffs

Ah yes. the crazy bond, i'm now a man utd fan, this is fact: my uncles family moved from leicester to birmingham for a while in the mid 70's, they all lived happily there and whilst he was there he got engaged to a lass who was originally from manchester. Now this manchester bird moved to liverpool at a young age, however, her cousin's boyfriend's brother was a barnsley fan, he really didn't like leeds as his mam was from there so he supported YANITED. like me. I've never been to a YANITED game but i'm 100% biggest fan LOLLOL

Leeds dominated & had a perfectly good goal ruled out. Followed shortly by a clear cut penalty not given. Years later it came to light that the ref /∨ linesman had accepted bribes. Hence ever since 1975 that chant.

We've also been in 3 eufa cup finals winning 2. Manu never made one eufa cup final.

Well years ago the UEFA cup was a top competition cus only the league champions could enter the real euro cup. Hence think if that was the case now. You'd have liverpool, chelsea, arsenal all in that cup. Hence it was hard to win. Manu won the euro cup in 1967 but did nothing else till the 90's. To be honest I felt at the time that they should have kept the cup winners cup & scrapped the uefa cup in favour of a european league cup. It just can't be called the champions league in my opinion.
