If ever the Foxestalk leftists get into power I'm jacking everything I do in, it's going to be the cushiest life ever.

a) Eating at McDonalds isn't cheap.

b) I see the same ads as everybody else and have a McDonalds 5/6 times a year.

You can't blame people's laziness on lack of welfare.

You seriously believe that everyone poor exists solely on a fvcking McMeal served up by Mousebrain?

Are you currently drunk or under the influence of paint vapour?

All this despite people apparently starving to death

You are still missing the point of the hypothetical situation, it is not a real situation, we are not talking about now, we are talking about what would happen if, as someone suggested, benefits were cut for more than 2 children, thereby not allowing people to have more than 2 kids unless they can afford it (currently being discussed by this Government), as Nightguard pointed out, what if a family that wanted and could afford 5 kids, so had them, then find themselves unemployed...

Just let them die out then. You'd be amazed how quickly people would find the means to survive when they can no longer rely on handouts.

I bet that they would only find legal means too...

This is what is being discussed, and you know as well as I do and any right minded person would, if forced into a corner, you would steal to survive, this is not a morality contest, you would do all you could to provide for yourself and your family, and I would be disappointed in you if you didn't.

I've said this before. Limit people on the amount of kids they have. People on benefits can easily afford to live, unless they live in a stupidly expensive house or have lots of kids.

I'm in a situation where I would be better off quitting my job and living on benefits then I would be carrying on working (that's not even an exaggeration), so I really struggle to sympathise, in fact I envy those on benefits.

Of course, because obesity is caused by the over-consumption of balanced, healthy diets.

Stupid poor people guzzling healthy, organic sirloin all day.

Unhealthy diets cost money too. If you can afford to eat at McDonalds you don't need to go to a food bank.

If someone stands in the street handing out ten pound notes it doesn't prove that everyone who took them was bankrupt.

Is this the same sort of poverty that caused everyone to start rioting and nicking tvs?

I'm sorry but what an absolutely ridiculous question this is, can someone bring some reality back into this thread?

No one in this country with a family cannot afford a loaf of bread should they need it. It's absurd to suggest so. Even on the minimum JSA allowance you have enough to feed yourself.

What the fvck has reality got to do with a hypothetical situation?

When I'm Prime Minister it certainly won't be cushy.

I think chavocide sums up my main policy.

So what is this cheap unhealthy food that poor people are forced to eat against their will?

There is no humane way to regulate it, I would agree, but the only way is to educate people and make them understand the pressures and strains they are putting on themselves and the world's limited resources.

Even though society will disintegrate after the apocalypse, Matt and Webbo will still be plus-1ing each other on how they haven't stolen a thing...all the way to their deaths.

You are the one who introduced McShit, I didn't.

Clearly the reference in other posts was towards the crap in Farm Foods...'cheap' was your clue in their posts.

Try again.

You already have my vote.

Yeah me and Webbo are the only ones who do that.

Instead of typing this bit you should have simply written "I have no idea how food banks work".

Because you clearly don't.

What is it with you two? Are you deliberately trying to appear the victim of neonatal cerebral hypoxia?

Try reading the whole fvcking sentence. All the words, not just the small ones and numbers.

You know how you were telling MPH to stop crying like a 6 year old girl yesterday?

Schrapers started with McDonalds not me. As for Farmfoods there is nothing wrong with frozen vegetables. All this "lets blame someone else" attitude creates a sense of entitlement and absolves people of responsibility for their own lives. It perpetuates welfare dependency and poverty.

If people are starving on benefits, then it's because

- They have too many kids to support

- Their accomodation is too expensive

- They waste their money/don't know how to budget

It's not because they don't get enough money. I'd also be starving if I spent all my money on alcohol and cigarettes.

- Are long-term unemployed

- Are disabled and scraping by on benefit money

Sometimes people are poor for reasons beyond their control.

Yup it was me who brought up McDonalds as an example, like Coke and other peddlers of high in salt/sugar/fat crap, that shove it down our throats on a daily basis, McDonalds always used to be cheap, a big mac meal was cheaper than a piece of steak or a packet of mince, well last time I looked it was.

Oh and if you are going to shorten my name, can you please make it Shrappers, or Schrappers, with just 1 'P' it looks like a cross between school and raper, and those days are behind me.

^ As mentioned before, the benefit money is adequate enough so that you don't starve.

I'm not knocking poor people. I'm as poor as they come.

People aren't starving on benefits, but on the hypothetical situation where by benefits are cut to such an extent they are forced to work or die out, as was being discussed, then they would be.

Oh ok - sorry, I came in late to this conversation!

I don't think benefits should be cut, but I do think they should be much better regulated.
