Could the moderators maybe move some of this verbal handbags to a private area where they can fight it out without getting in the way of real Absolute Cvnts?

But that's the point Pancake boy really is one.

Who is pancake boy? I'm confused...

I don't know if he was or not, but it's not a factual statement if so, as I have faith but don't have an unquestioning mind nor unconditional beliefs. It's a common misconception.

That said, barring the possible religion comment I thought he made some good points.

No, I wasn't talking about faiths.

I meant to come back in and correct my post but the football made me forget.

I said it isn't a factual statement regarding religious people, but I suppose it is in many cases.

Wow, two absolute c**ts in the same room...

Everyone was probably too busy watching the Jimmy Saville Panorama last night to notice, but Paxman interviewed him on Newsnight and he came across as a MASSIVE C*** on that as well, funnily enough

Worth another watch.

Comedy gold. The guy has some kind of personality disorder, utterly convinced he has done nothing wrong, and doesn't see the boundaries between his money and company money.

Maybe it is a bit naughty calling him a c***, he does seem to have something a bit wrong with him.

Have you read Jon Ronson's 'The Psychopath Test'? This interview really reminded me of it

I thought he handled himself rather well. And he is right about the corrupt American legal system. And for once it was nice to see Paxman up against someone who is clearly more intelligent than him and at times made Paxman sound silly.

You're as deluded as that mentalist.

Yeah I was about to mention that. Makes me chuckle how much of a psychopath spotter you become after reading it, despite the warnings of uneducated diagnosis! Haha.

Cracking read though, first book in ages I've picked up and literally finished in the same sitting.

Not a nonce or a violent shit but....

A JOBLESS dad whose family gets nearly £30,000 in benefits has boasted: “Why should I work?”

Scrounging Paul Tolley, 54, and wife Amanda, 28, rake in £29,472 a year in handouts — over £3,000 more than the average UK wage.

Father-of-six Paul is FIT to work yet sees nothing wrong in letting the state pay for them to “live comfortably” in a four-bedroom bungalow in a seaside town.

Millions of hard-working families struggling to make ends meet will be outraged by their set-up — and see it as yet another of example of the broken benefits system.

The couple have four children aged three to seven and claim £2,456 a month in job support, rent and council tax, child benefit and tax credits in Southend, Essex.

Paul has not worked since suffering a back injury in 1996 but still managed to pay for the couple’s boozy wedding out of benefits.

He is £29,000 in DEBT yet stopped repaying a loan to spend £100 on each of his kids’ Christmas presents.

And he was ordered to REPAY £7,000 in disability allowance after council spies caught him laying a new lawn and lifting heavy bin bags.

But Paul, who has two older children from a previous relationship, bragged: “Why should I work when we can live on benefits? I don’t care if I go bankrupt.

“Some people were born with a silver spoon in their mouths, they wouldn’t understand how hard it is for us.”

Denying abusing the system, he added: “Because we are two parents we get more money. So what?

“This Government isn’t doing enough to get cheats off benefits — and I don’t think I am one of them.”

Is this for real or just a Sun version?

I don't put benefits claimers in the same category as murderers and rapists.

Thing is how much of that money is on rent?

We get this debate over and over again though.

At the end of the day what do you want to do someone who

a) dosn't want to work

b) wants to have lots of kids

I would wager that there are very few people like that though.

If is on JSA and benefits and admits not looking for work his allowances would be stopped.

I don't feel envy jealous or resentment towards him. He is in debt and at some point he won't be given credit to spend in a pound shop. When his benefits stop he will fall behind with his rent and may well be evicted. So If he wants to be a prat so what but I doubt that he does what he says and it is a typical stereotype believed by many gulible people.

Like above rent and rates is probably included in that amount. I don't know what the estimated income is for somebody in his position but for a single man it is £72 pw. Am I jumping up and down with joy with that amount? Am I going on continental holidays, in the boozer all day? Work it out. If you add rent and rates it come to 150-200 but I do not see any of that.

Next year they are not going to pay benefits they are going to give the money to the claimant through the bank. So anyone who is a poor manager with money will spend it, get behind with the rent/rates and find themselves homeless. Good idea David.

Before going off on a wild rant, I try to stop and think about the logic behind the story. Ity is easy to react to it which is exactly how newspapers want people to respond. The more sensational the story is the more people will buy the paper again to see more of the same. What does he get? £2000 month to feed a family of 6? £500 PW for food clothing and other stuff like electricty and gas which for a family with kids there would be a lot of use.

I'm not defending his actions if true but depending on his trade if he has one would he get £500 PW in a job? Minimum wage would bring in half that.
