Lillehamring Posted 28 August 2008 Posted 28 August 2008 "refound the rhythm and tempo" - pah - sounded more like a flukey deflection in the last minute
The People's Hero Posted 28 August 2008 Posted 28 August 2008 He was on Sky Sports News saying that he felt sympathy for us as we were competitive throughout. Can't remember his exact words - but he did have some kind words for us.

BlabyFox Posted 28 August 2008 Posted 28 August 2008 he didn't mention the 2 lucky deflected goals - one off gilbert, one off morrison. he also didn't mention the disallowed howard goal which should have counted if not for the 'lets all bum keepers and give them a free kick if anyone get within a yard of them'
JoeyB Posted 28 August 2008 Posted 28 August 2008 He is Chattin shit, bloody hate fulham now, shit ground, shit fans, and we get shit results their, even if we dominated
Kilworthfox Posted 28 August 2008 Posted 28 August 2008 He is Chattin shit, bloody hate fulham now, shit ground, shit fans, and we get shit results their, even if we dominated I actually agree with everything he said. I can not find anything that he has said which is untrue or derogatory towards LCFC, in fact he praised us more than once for our play and rightly so.
James. Posted 28 August 2008 Posted 28 August 2008 Just listened to it now. Hodgson is spot on. None of this patronising rubbish about us being brave and plucky. He just recognised the quality of our play, the way we approached the game, our motivation and our work ethic. Spot on.
demon_dog Posted 28 August 2008 Posted 28 August 2008 Bloody Hell, a manager that doesn't give everyone bullshit. From what I can gather his post match summary is a reasonable reflection of the game. Good to see such honesty.
