Joe. Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 I actually fancy Notts County. Good lad! Altogether it's like £4 for train and £5 for match ticket (kids/u-16's obviously )
Koke Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 I quite fancy Notts County as well. But I shall be in attendance on Saturday though.
Ross-Kemp Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Could be more leicester than cherries at this rate
Tilley Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Boys & girls, what time train are we getting Saturday
Tilley Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Taking the train at approximately 2.15 What time does that get you there?
Ross-Kemp Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Taking the train at approximately 2.15 Not going for a few pre-match pints
syston_fox Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Good lad! Altogether it's like £4 for train and £5 for match ticket (kids/u-16's obviously ) I think I read on the notts county site that if you want kids / student prices then you have to go to the ticket office to get tickets instead of the turnstiles.
Ross-Kemp Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 That can be arranged I have a lady friend from notts Time for a phone call me thinks
Chairman of the Bored Posted 31 August 2008 Author Posted 31 August 2008 Ok Chaps. Here's a few chants for you to get up to speed on: 1. Refrain: "Up the Cherries!" Reply: "In all departments." 2. Flying high up in the sky we'll keep the red flag flying high, Dean Court to Wemberlee, we'll keep the red flag flying high. 3. Warren Cummings is a red, is a red, is a red, Warren Cumming is a red, he hates Reading. 4. At corners: Boscombe, back of the net, Boscombe, back of the net. 5. We are Bournemouth, super Bournemouth, we are Bournemouth from the sarf, no one's heard of us, no ones heard of us, no one's heard of us, we don't care. 6. Bond out!! 7. Chick, Chick, Chick, Chick, Chicken, score a little goal for me. 8. Any nasty tackle from a player playing for a club north of Salisbury: "You dirty Northern bastards!"
lildave3 Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Just realised. Russell Hoult will also be on show! Magic.
JoeyB Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 I might turn up yet, day out at football really, all in leicester shirts
Kilworthfox Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 He is shit there I said it! I have seen him play, on good & bad days.......... he is a poor poor poor mans Heskey, in fact it is an insult to Heskey to label RS with the Bruno tag (even in jest)! The only similarities I can think of are their skin colour & occasional lazyness
Ross-Kemp Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 I might turn up yet, day out at football really, all in leicester shirts Yeah. would be so fooking funny, see about 20 of us in leicester shirts
Mickey O'Neil Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 I'm going to Meadow Lane tomorrow or Tuesday to get a ticket...£12 concessions!!! I'm there. Might have either 2 or 3 spaces in my car
lildave3 Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Can you go to the ticket office on the day still?
Mickey O'Neil Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Yes, but not if you're after concessions. Notts Co
Simi Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 I might turn up yet, day out at football really, all in leicester shirts No, that would be really disrespectful and arrogant. If someone did that at one of our games I'd have to say something.
lildave3 Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Yes, but not if you're after concessions. Notts Co Uh oh.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 I wouldn't say anything to anyone in a different shirt, although a flag would be taking the piss a bit!
DanTheFox07 Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Left it too late to get a ticket for Chelters so went with mate (who is a Bournemouth fan) to Port Vale.Sappletizer on from the start. Truth be told he was hopeless. At one point the Cherries fans (all 50 of them) started a rousing chorus of "send him back". Someone quipped "he's not exactly the new Gradel, is he?". Must admit, my opionion was similar. He was slow, ponderous, looked over weight, couldn't hold the ball up, was unable to bring a team mate into play and when near goal his finishing (well, 2 shouts and one header) was woeful. He was subbed after 57 mins. Conclusion: anyone that thinks Saps is the future of our foward line, think again. Second conclusion: Bournemouth looked awful and will be kissing goodbye to the League unless a mircale happens. Third conclusion: The Potteries was, is and will forever remain a shit hole. give the guy a chance.......... he`s only 18 and hes hardly going to be amazing straight away as he doesnt play week in week out.
Joe. Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Hmmm, looks like I'll just have to buy a student ticket instead.
lildave3 Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Hmmm, looks like I'll just have to buy a student ticket instead. Can you order them over the phone? That could work I reckon.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 They physically need to see the NUS/UB40 (or whatever it's called these days) identification. Might not work but worth a phone call me thinks
