They physically need to see the NUS/UB40 (or whatever it's called these days) identification. Might not work but worth a phone call me thinks

Yeah I'm alright with that, I've got a student card and everything. But if possible I'd like to save myself £7 and get u-16's. I'll probably give them a ring tomorrow and see what I can do.

For what it's worth, Bournemouth sacked Kevin Bond yesterday and today have appointed Jimmy Quinn as manager, another ex-Leicester connection.

Any Foxes travelling to Meadow Lane will therefore be witnessing the birth of a new era for The Cherries.

By and large the locals are not happy: happy to see Bond go but unhappy about the way Quinn has been appointed.

I wonder what Sappo thinks about it all? Probably doesn't give a toss.

A quick Sappo update for those expecting to see him hit five against Notts County. He wasn't in the team or even on the bench Tuesday against The Gas. New signing Goulding grabbed the opener and is likely to remain in team with Chicken.

I suggest if you want to see Saps on Saturday you'd best meet him in Hooters.

I saw Notts County play Middlesbrough at the County Ground with my ex (who was a County fan). Also saw them a couple of other times when Chris O'Grady was on loan there (and being rubbish)

Meadow Lane?

Been there a couple of times. Got crushed in the early 90s when Walshie got sent off there. Then went back a couple of years ago with Northampton to see a 2-2 draw. Eoin Jess scored a ripper for Cobblers.

Yeah, Meadow Lane. Not sure why I thought County played in Swindon.

Well, you'd normally expect ringing the Notts County ticket office to take you to somebody who knows how to order tickets. However, this wasn't the case.

I think i'm just gonna turn up on the day and hope my out of date student card is accepted!

I have read this after reading nothing more than the topic title and I must say that it really bares no resemblance to anything I was expecting.
