jimmy7587 Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Okay boys and girls that like Leicester Derby County aren't doing very well are they?! Did anyone else notice this?! Just making sure! Jimmy
ozleicester Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Bottom you say....Derby....so let me just get this clear... Derby are bottom[/size]
Unit Posted 3 September 2008 Posted 3 September 2008 Now over a YEAR since they've won a league game I'd rather be in our position, even if it is a league below, at least we're smiling!
joely22 Posted 3 September 2008 Posted 3 September 2008 Now over a YEAR since they've won a league gameI'd rather be in our position, even if it is a league below, at least we're smiling! I don't know. Eventually we'll start winning. I've been away for the past week but we got a decent win against Preston in the cup and we dominated against Barnsley. Ok we lost but the signs are there that we can do alright and we can create chances. Like I said, we will start winning shortly - whether Paul Jewell will be in charge by then I don't know but I doubt we'll be sitting around the bottom six come March / April time.

As we know, it doesn't just take overnight to start beating everybody.

Father Ted Posted 3 September 2008 Posted 3 September 2008 For those that didn't know we are now just 1 place behind Derby and it will soon be a year since they won a league match!

Wait til the Hungarian wingers start arriving on loan. That's when you know it's all over.
lavrentis Posted 3 September 2008 Posted 3 September 2008 Sorry for being thick, but what do you mean by that! I know it's the near start of the season, but you are not doing so well. I mean I don't think you are going to be beating teams week in week out. We had many false dawns, where we thought we would do well. I don't know .
GLC Posted 3 September 2008 Posted 3 September 2008 As we know, it doesn't just take overnight to start beating everybody. lets talk about somethinng better than derby, is that haley williams from paramore as ur profile pic thing? shes hot!! such a better subject!

Asha Posted 3 September 2008 Posted 3 September 2008 For those that didn't know we are now just 1 place behind Derby and it will soon be a year since they won a league match! It's a year if they don't beat Sheffield United at home or Swansea away.
Father Ted Posted 3 September 2008 Posted 3 September 2008 It was September 17th the last time they won! That's 2007 They have two games until it's a year... home against Sheff Utd and Away at Swansea, don't see them winning either...
Asha Posted 3 September 2008 Posted 3 September 2008 They won't be relegated, but I can see them finishing about 15th/16th.
Unit Posted 3 September 2008 Posted 3 September 2008 They won't be relegated, but I can see them finishing about 15th/16th. 15/16th for the next 3 or 4 years? then one year finally dropping into the third tier? Deja Vu?

THATS WHAT WE SAID !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Asha Posted 3 September 2008 Posted 3 September 2008 15/16th for the next 3 or 4 years? then one year finally dropping into the third tier? Deja Vu? Yes, my thoughts exactly.
Corky Posted 3 September 2008 Posted 3 September 2008 Sorry for being thick, but what do you mean by that! After relegation from the Premiership in 2004, we expected to win games comfortably and rise up again. Didn't happen. Our highest finish was 15th in 2005, every year we went further down the table until relegation last season. I don't think you'll go down, but I think you'll be in for a tough winter.
