Got Tottenham in the quater finals of the F.A. Cup (if I beat Plymouth, yes I drew 1-1 away at Plymouth)

Drew Arsenal in the quater finals of the Champions League so most probably get knocked out there.

Newcastle knocked me out of the Carling Cup.

Sitting 2nd in the Premiership but cannot get relegated.

Just had a major disaster... tried to put in an update and it ****ed the entire game up so I had to reinstall it all.

Now though, cause it's been so long, I have no idea how to get a patch for update to work... where do I put it? I have a Mac, can anyone help...

EDIT: Is is still just documents>sports interactive>db like Leicfox said? Will try that.

Nope, I've tried that... what happens is that the 9.0.0 version works fine and is completely installed. I have now just downloaded the 9.0.3 update again and I have no idea where to put it... however, no matter where I have tried, when I try to open it up using the new FM logo that it gives, it unexpectedly quits every time without even opening the game window. What am I doing wrong?

If it's a zip / rar file, did you extract the files beforehand?

Nah, it was all opened out... I've managed it now though, thanks anyway.

Basically what I had done was saved it into another file, not the FM09 file by accident and therefore the computer wasn't reading the update as part of the game itself which it should for the 9.0.3 version. I just had to delete it and download the file again. Seems to be fine now... cross fingers.

I put it on holiday for a whole season and saved it on the 24th June 09 so I can keep reloading until FC United are promoted, Must have had every other team but them. Wish I'd have just used the editor instead.

I mean there is a team called Ashford Town (Middlesex) and yes it has the brackets included in the name.

I really dislike the 3D ones as they are all pixelly which just looks bad so I was wondering whether I could replace them on the Info screen with the nicer creased versions...
