Are you ABSOLUTELY sure you've got 100% of them... a similar thing happened to me before where I couldn't even start FM09 cause I hadn't deleted ALL of the previous files... There are some in 'My Documents' and there should be a Preferences file somewhere with them in... that's the key one... the Preferences as it holds all of the previous preferences data in from the last time you played and ****s up the game unless you delete it. Again, hope this helps this time.

That could be it then... really need to find the Preferences folder... there should be many different folders in there and one of them is a Sports Interactive folder which you need to delete... the game should, cross fingers, then work.

Right, I found a mysterious Sports Interactive folder which I didn't delete before. I think it's what you were on about, so fingers crossed it will work. If not, ah well, and thanks again.

So just started one with Rotherham. The geezer that did the update has given them a -17 point deduction , so Im gunna do frig all this season. Carried on anyway , signed a few decent league 2 players. Emile Sinclair from Florest on loan Harry Worley on a free and Cody McDonald from Naaarwich to name a few. Won my opening 3 games....2-0 at Macclesfield. 1-0 away at Oldham in the cup and 3-0 at home to Lincoln. Yet to conceed Worley is an absoloute rapist at league 2 level!! Really starting to get into it again!
