Ross-Kemp Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Is it just me, or does anyone else think they will storm the top 4 this season
Rodderz Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Is it just me, or does anyone else think they will storm the top 4 this season To be honest i dont think they will. £120mil for ronaldo Whats that all about. Waste of money
Ross-Kemp Posted 10 September 2008 Author Posted 10 September 2008 To be honest i dont think they will. £120mil for ronaldo Whats that all about. Waste of money Agree, no player is worth that much, but to see the look on everyones face if he did
Ross-Kemp Posted 10 September 2008 Author Posted 10 September 2008 Sorry, didn't realise there was an old one.
Rodderz Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Agree, no player is worth that much, but to see the look on everyones face if he did But the thing is man city will offer him about 300,000 a week
Uncle Albert Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 I cant see Man City making the top four, think they will struggle to make a UEFA Cup spot. They wont sign anyone good in January and Robinho isnt going to be the reason why they break the top four. IF, a very big IF Arsenal will be the team to drop but that wont happen.
Lovejoy Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Nah Citeh aren't good enough yet, and by January they'll be too far adrift for any big signings to have a suffieient impact. UEFA Cup at best .
JakeShingler Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 They will never be near the top 4 this season, one player does not make a team.
Alexikokopops Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 I've stuck Robinho and SWP in the team on Pro Evo and now they're literally unbeatable. On that alone I think they're going to win the Champions League this season. At least.
Spiritwalker Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Is it just me, or does anyone else think they will storm the top 4 this season Just you then.

C-man Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Man City are the final nail in the Premiership's coffin as far as I'm concerned.
Alexikokopops Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 That would be some achievement, the Uefa Cup is within there limits though. I did say "at least". Sheesh
Rodderz Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Man City are the final nail in the Premiership's coffin as far as I'm concerned. Yes. You Very Very Very Correct
Uncle Albert Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 I did say "at least". Sheesh I'm lost.
Alexikokopops Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 I'm lost. I was joking in my first post about them winning the Champions League (referring to when people always say someone's good because they're good on Pro Evo/FM). Hence why I put "At least" even though no club can win more than the Champions League. Then I just carried it on when you mentioned the UEFA Cup. I hate the " " smiley, so if you ever see me using it I'm not being serious.

l444ry Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Man City: Sparky Out, Bin Laden in! In a shock move today, Mark Hughes has been sacked as Manchester Citys manager paving the way for Osama Bin Laden to take control of the playing staff. A statement from Abu Dhabi United Groups owner, Sheikh Sulaiman Al Fahim on the official Man City website said - "With effect from today, Mark Hughes has been released from his duties as the manager of Manchester City. Our new manager will be Mr Osama Bin Laden. We feel Mr Bin Laden will be an aggressive manager who can distribute the global image of Manchester City throughout the world, particularly the middle eastern regions, like Openshaw, Gorton and Beswick" A City insider said - "Mr Bin Laden has now retired from international terrorism after twenty long years and has decided to forge a career in football management. Sheikh Fahim is a good friend of Mr Bin Laden and they go back a long way, both having played for Baghdad Rovers." Speaking via video link from his cave in the Bora Bora mountains, Bin Laden was over the moon.... "I can't wait to get back on the international scene again and what better way to do it than this. I had several job offers, one being an X Factor judge, the other being the new face of Amnesty International Magazine, but this was just the dogs bollocks" In a further twist, Mark Hughes became the manager at Newcastle, with Kevin Keegan now fronting Al Qaedas North Eastern Branch.
dandannieldanok Posted 21 September 2008 Posted 21 September 2008 Class , although I think it only served to show the quality of Robinho and the crapness of Campbell (who is too old now) and Distin, rather than City's overall brilliance. They've still got far to go.
Corky Posted 21 September 2008 Posted 21 September 2008 They are banging them in, 15 goals in five matches.
