Enjoyed that game, Villa definitely deserved the win.

Tottenham have made yet another poor start, the media can bang on about how much they've spent on players this summer but at the end of the day they've lost their two best players in Keane and Berbatov and haven't replaced them sufficiently. Neither Pavlyuchenko or Bent will be good enough to get 20+ goals a season and this will ultimately be the downfall of Spurs.

Couple this with a defence that leaks goals for fun, and on tonight's showing, a dodgy keeper (although to be fair whenever I've seen Gomes before for PSV he's been good) and you have a recipe for a struggle.

As for Villa, I hope they succeed. They had 7 English players in their first team tonight, and it's refreshing to see this. I expect them to break into the top 6 this season with the team they have.
