lildave3 Posted 26 April 2009 Posted 26 April 2009  Us for Champions. 'Oh come on! We're getting drubbed by a bunch of 12 year olds.' Now mathmatically promoted too.
General Smuts Posted 27 April 2009 Posted 27 April 2009 3 games last night. My legs feel like lead this morning. Won the first game 8-2 and i bagged a hat-trick. Lost the second game 6-1 as it was a piss about free game and we were all going for megs at every oppurtunity. Lost our league game 15-9. Shit team but we were all fooking knackered by this point having played at 7, half past and 8. I bagged a couple but had an average game. Never a dull game in that league
CosbehFox Posted 27 April 2009 Posted 27 April 2009 Won 3 on the trot albeit last by default. 8 pts away from bottom and 5 from 7th and 6th from 2nd. WE ARE STAYING UP! SAY WE ARE STAYING UP!
lildave3 Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 Played for Manwell's team tonight, won 4-1, bagged 2. The second involved starting in my own corner and going past their whole team
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 April 2009 Posted 30 April 2009 Played for Manwell's team tonight, won 4-1, bagged 2. The second involved starting in my own corner and going past their whole team Legendery goal. win next week, league is ours. Which means promotion back to the Rymond Premier division
CosbehFox Posted 30 April 2009 Posted 30 April 2009 Tonight sees us take on Stringer and Thorpe. Cannae wait.
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 May 2009 Posted 1 May 2009 Hows this for a five a side record. Bearing in mind the team in 2nd is made up of Ibstock United's 1st team/reserves and the team in 3rd have a Coalville Town first team player, a Heather st Johns first team player, and the rest of them play for Ivanhoe. 1st Hastings P11 W11 D0 L0 F82 A1 Pts33 GD81

Good god. Still, The Team With No Name would beat them.
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 May 2009 Posted 1 May 2009 Good god.Still, The Team With No Name would beat them. You'd get spanked. By virtue of the fact that they spank everyone, in the district, and probable would in the county as well.
lildave3 Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 Lost 2-1 to the team in 2nd. Pissed me off big time. <_<
Mikey Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 Lost 2-1 to the team in 2nd. Pissed me off big time. <_< <_< Gotta win next week now. Goal number 6 for me.
dandannieldanok Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Played twice yesterday, the new pizza hut team needed a goalie. Drew 1-1 with them and drew 0-0 with my normal team.
Bert Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Played twice yesterday, the new pizza hut team needed a goalie. Drew 1-1 with them and drew 0-0 with my normal team. Were they any good? We beat Black Magic 5-0, I didn't play.
dandannieldanok Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Were they any good? We beat Black Magic 5-0, I didn't play. Ok, but we weren't up against anyone good, unusual suspects I think, probably the same as Dream Team really so no danger to the top teams.
lildave3 Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 Played again with Manwell tonight, won 2-0. Managed to score the first (with my right foot ) and setup the other. That win means they've won the league.
General Smuts Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 Had a great game on Sundee. Still hungover from Satdee and with only 2 first team regulars in the side we enlisted the other lads 2 younger brothers. And then borrowed a player from another team to make up the numbers. The young lads were ringers! Absolute quality the pair of them! We won 15-1 and the other team only scored by a dodgy back pass leading to a pen. I bagged a brace but set up 10. First goal was from kick off inside our half. Second goal i beat 2 players and Poborsky'd the keeper, who was a good lad and came upto me after the game to shake my hand. Done him a treat though

Tevez Posted 7 May 2009 Author Posted 7 May 2009 We are off to Cannock, Wolverhampton to pla in the National Tournament on the 23rd. Can't Wait.
General Smuts Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 I'd love to see the standard of this league. It's a uni league. So it's everyone who can't get in the uni team. There's also a few teams with local teams youth players. Keith Keane played one week - he was amazing. I've played against Charlton, QPR, Palace, Watford and Arsenal youths. Granted that was Arsenal ladies (who train on our campus) but they were still fooking good. Saying that my keeper last season was the first team first choice, and all of my squad had had trials at various teams, Leicester, Ipswich, Norwich and 2 were semi-pro.

Well how come it's you who scores 12 and sets up 40 a night if their semi pro?

That win means they've won the league. Actually seems I jumped the gun a bit there. The team that was in 4th won and have two games in hand over us, now if they win all there games and we lose our last game and in the process, they manage to overhaul the +20 goal differnece we have over them, they'lll overtake us. haha.
General Smuts Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 Well how come it's you who scores 12 and sets up 40 a night if their semi pro? Haha! My team are really good so assists are no problem - pass them the ball and let them score! I've always been much better at 5-a-side than 11 a side cos its a small pitch for a shorter length of time.

Well none of that is going to happen. Celebrate away.
lildave3 Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Finished the season with a 3-3 draw, we were 2-0 up then 3-2 down and then rescued it in the last minute. Bagged one to finish with 17 goals for the season. Filbertway also bagged one from about 90 yards. 3rd placed finish, can't say i'm actually pleased about promotion.
Bert Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Won 1-0. Was a tough game and we were missing 3 key players. Worked hard and deserved the win!
