Floating Fox Posted 14 October 2008 Posted 14 October 2008 Won on penalties in the cup tonight. Was a very poor game, but still a good laugh. Btw this is the Coavlille Town Thread now.
Sods Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 PFFFFFFFFT. Coalville need to play a real team, like Brackley.
Sods Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 When is the draw. For what? 4th Qualifing or 1st Round?
Floating Fox Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 PFFFFFFFFT.Coalville need to play a real team, like Brackley. Coalville are too big for their league! I'd be very disapointed if they don't get promoted this year.
Sods Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 For what? 4th Qualifing or 1st Round? 1st round I hear you shout Jakey! Well a couple of years ago they did it straight after the 4th Qualifing games. 5ish. Was good to see Havant fans go mad when they got drawn at home to Millwall. Sad that they regretted it in the end.

So you might catch us up. But I guess Coalville will be put in the Unibond, with Loughbrough and Quorn. Hope Coalville do well mate, only problem is long cup runs down at this level usually put a set back to your league campaign.

Decent set up there, theres just as good if not better set ups though all through the league. We need a few more quality players on the books before we are serious promotion contenders imo, still got an outside chance though I suppose.
purpleronnie Posted 18 October 2008 Author Posted 18 October 2008 Bad result today, lost 3-0. Market drayton are very strong, I expect them to go up. I think the league is slightly weaker this year, but i cant see Coalville going up.

filbertway Posted 16 November 2008 Posted 16 November 2008 The Coalville Shed end goes Mexican  Ayyy gringooo Comfortable 5-2 win against Dosthill Colts yesterday, they played well but coalville were just to strong for them in the end and it could have been double figues in the last 15 minutes. Into the 3rd round of the vase now and looking good for Wembley

filbertway Posted 16 November 2008 Posted 16 November 2008 Is Goodwin still impressing ?? The whole defence is really, none of them particularly stand out, which is good really. I'll pay closer attention if he plays tuesday night and let you know what I think.

CosbehFox Posted 17 November 2008 Posted 17 November 2008 Went Hinckledash-Harrogate on Saturday. Hinckley have improved leaps and bounds since last season. Much better team. Webster and Gooding look too good for that level. Credit to both teams as well - awful weather but both intending to play football. The high ball didn't come into effect until the 70th minute. Moses-Gravey, lad on loan from Brum City scored a lovely good as well. Brilliant watching four Hinckley blokes and Harrogate's no.4 rip each other to bits on the touchline. Can't get that down the Citeeh.

purpleronnie Posted 20 November 2008 Author Posted 20 November 2008 Another match abandoned when coalville we're winning. 2 matches 6 points down the drain, they would be in a really excellent position if the floodlights hadn't failed. It must be hard to motivate players after this, to replay those 2 games and pick up 6 points will be some achievement. I just hope they do, because how bad would it be if they missed out on promotion due to floodlights?.

I'm hoping they do as well, bcause we're starting to look in a good position, the sad thing is, the games could easily have been completed. There was only 1 corner floodlight out and the whole pitch was still visible.
Milky Posted 20 November 2008 Posted 20 November 2008 Is Goodwin still impressing ?? My cousin don't you know. Haven't seen him play since the Leicester days though so couldn't answer that

Players were ****ed off on tuesday. Not a happy bunch. They weren't happy the first time, lots of heated exchanges with the opposition team.
filbertway Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Beat bottom of the league 2-0, could have been 6-7 by the sounds of it. Bring on boldmere t'morrow night (8) Adam stevens black and white army (8)
