purpleronnie Posted 27 September 2008 Posted 27 September 2008 Not sure if anyones interested, but I knew a lot of people involved with coalville and follow their results too. They beat Stafford 2-1 in the FA cup, they beat a team that last year was a Conference side and are doing well this season and unbeated away is some achievement.
Stuliasz Posted 27 September 2008 Posted 27 September 2008 Been wondering about this all the way home! Well done lads! Awesome.
lildave3 Posted 27 September 2008 Posted 27 September 2008 Bet the people who went off here had a quality day. Well done Coalville.

Stuliasz Posted 27 September 2008 Posted 27 September 2008 I think there are four so two more to go before they get drawn against Leicester

Manwell Pablo Posted 27 September 2008 Posted 27 September 2008 At Coalville. It'd get moved anyway. Fantastic result for them one game away from the 4th qualifying round.
James_lcfc Posted 27 September 2008 Posted 27 September 2008 I live in Stafford and played for their U21's a few season's ago. Even with Steve Walsh's old nemesis Steve Bull in charge they're shite! haha
Fox You Forest Posted 27 September 2008 Posted 27 September 2008 It'd get moved anyway.Fantastic result for them one game away from the 4th qualifying round. More than likely, Shame really all those free seats on snibby bank.
filbertway Posted 28 September 2008 Posted 28 September 2008 Good times, a pitch invasion and a hug off Alvin, what more do you need? Pretty even game really, coalville matched them and managed to a bag a few on the break, although I did think it was game over after they went 1-0 up. £4,500 to the chairman for that win, that explains why the players had free drinks post match

I will never mock Coalville again. I actually enjoyed it very much. Now just for Coalville to get some decent pubs & it'd be sorted. Coalville were deserved winners imo. And free cake for the fans? Oh yeah. Hoping for a good tie next round, pretty sure I'll come
filbertway Posted 28 September 2008 Posted 28 September 2008 Mate of mine Tommy Goodwin been playing for Coalville , hows he been doing ? He's an absolute rock to be fair. Could play a level or two higher I reckon, stood out yesterday for most people.
Sparky Posted 28 September 2008 Posted 28 September 2008 He's an absolute rock to be fair. Could play a level or two higher I reckon, stood out yesterday for most people. Injurys have held him back to be fair . O neill loved him down here , Taylor didnt
Floating Fox Posted 28 September 2008 Posted 28 September 2008 At Coalville. As Pabs said, it'd be moved the the walkers and would therefore be weak. I was thinking it'd be awesome if leicester were non-league though. To see a couple of thousand fans all in blue go and dominate some places like that would be quality. Stafford looked good with a couple of hundred. Hinckley also breezed through to the next round against a team in their own division. I'd love Coalville vs Hinckley. Awesome. Fleetwood Town also through. I shall be waking up just in time for the draw tomorrow!

Sods Posted 28 September 2008 Posted 28 September 2008 Was a hellhole last week. What time is the draw? Usually around 10ish 12ish Brackley still in.
Sods Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Coalville have Leiston Away. Winnable. Whilst Brackley will play Boreham Wood away if they win the replay.
