Phube Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 Any one watch it... Just watched it last night (in HD shinyness ) Really good opener, it's like a modern day X-Files. Will have to see how it progresses!
The Blur Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 Finally my own series. What? Your own thread decidated to you wasn't good enough?
General Smuts Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 What?Your own thread decidated to you wasn't good enough? My ego is all encompassing. I demand you change your name to Karl Peutrill right now.
The Blur Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 My ego is all encompassing. I demand you change your name to Karl Peutrill right now. ok how do KarlyPeutrillSucks sound? Let me consider that over lunch...I'm off for lunch now
AmericanScott Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 When i saw it advertised, i mis-heard the show title and thought it was called "Minge". I got excited.
Alexikokopops Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 That's my general view on American drama shows. Except for House. That's probably only because I have a bit of a man crush on House.

Alexikokopops Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 Did you watch it though...? No, I don't have Sky 1. Even if I do start watching it I doubt I'd carry on. I generally manage to watch the first few episodes of a new American drama and then realise I can't be arsed to spend an hour a week for the next 24 weeks watching it and go to the pub across the road instead
grth2004 Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 ive seen the first 3 episodes and it gets even better , the mad scientist steels the show hes brilliant
Gav_LCFC Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Just got the first series watched about 8 episodes. Can't believe that i didn't watch it sooner!
Rincewind Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Cant find it its supposed to be On demand on Warner TV. Showing previews but its not listed.
Rincewind Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 The fourth series starts on Sky 1 on Tuesday 4th Doesnt say wghat series it is but doesnt say its the first.
Rincewind Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Looks like I'll miss the eposodes then not worth watching the fourth series. Virgin only give a choice of a few programs yet the preview loads. There are at least two I cant find on the listings.
Phube Posted 3 October 2011 Author Posted 3 October 2011 It won't make any sense if you don't watch the previous series! Still cracking though

Rincewind Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Not sure how much time I have. Brushing for on my IT skilss (or lack of them) may watch a couple of episodes after buzzcocks. Its showing now.. Shall have to record the fourth series. and try and watch the first 3 when I can. I am able to record a series depending how much space is on the virgin box. Series one 20 episodes Series Two 20 episodes Series three 6 episodes Why only six?
Rincewind Posted 4 October 2011 Posted 4 October 2011 I'm on number 6 of 1st series. Thought it was just about aliens. Seems to be different stories.
purpleronnie Posted 4 October 2011 Posted 4 October 2011 it was pretty interesting but the characters were so unappealing I lost interest.
Rincewind Posted 4 October 2011 Posted 4 October 2011 Yes they do seem one dimensional. No developement. Walter's the only one that seems to have an emotion. But I will struggle on for the stories.
Phube Posted 6 October 2011 Author Posted 6 October 2011 it was pretty interesting but the characters were so unappealing I lost interest. How far in did you get... because all the main characters have really interesting stories... (Let alone from series 3...)
Rincewind Posted 6 October 2011 Posted 6 October 2011 The characters are just taking so long to develop. Halway through series one now. A long way to catch up. May have to watch some now. Not a lot on atm.
