Floating Fox Posted 16 October 2008 Author Posted 16 October 2008 Whats going on here?10 pages seems a lot to read back through. Shall i just create my own team? It's up to you, Jovan has one spot left on his team, if he doesn't want you, or you don't want to join him, then make your own team
Brainy Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 Can you lower the wage of your driver within reason?

Floating Fox Posted 16 October 2008 Author Posted 16 October 2008 Can you lower the wage of your driver within reason? Not now you've agreed to pay him that amount!! Don't I have to wait for an offer from Jovan though? Yeah. Like I said, down to you fella.
Asha Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 Don't I have to wait for an offer from Jovan though? Yeah, but maybe ask him, or wait for him to post about it on here. If he's not after you, start your own

dandannieldanok Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 And reveal the setup? No a totally innocent request, if anyone has got a public game running or something then I'd be grateful, I'm just asking out of pure intrigue.

DJ Barry Hammond Posted 17 October 2008 Posted 17 October 2008 Ok so here are the rules:Each team will have a manager. The managers are Me, Matt, Chris, Jovan & Martin. The rest of you joining will be up for buying & bidding. Each team manager can approach another driver (Pm on here and/on batracer) and offer him/her 'x' amount per race. There are 24 Races in the season, so beware of this. It is then up to the driver as to which team they wish to sign for. Each team recieves a budget of $300m, and the chassis/engine/tyres combination are free (i.e they have no impact on the budget). All team managers will recive PM's with the game details so they can set their team up. Let the bidding for drivers begin. Here is the price list. Remember you will need to sign two drivers. Any new driver, or one without a drive from previous seasons is available for free. Once a driver agrees to sign for a team, he Cannot go back on his word. (Compensation must be paid by the team in this case) Paul Hills $75m Johnny Matthews $60m Alex Cook $50m Fi Ridgewell $48m Ashley Jupp $39m Daniel Cox $30m Ben Stapleford $30m Damon Fleming $25m Adrien Shen $24m Jake Shingler $3m The amount you pay your driver must be made public, so that the money can be deducted from the budgets. Prize money is awarded for each race win, the teams championship and the drivers championship. They money will be carried onto the next series too (That is if this is sucsessfull and works!!!) A team with a sponser will also recieve a bonus. Not sure if i've missed anything. Any questions just ask! Hopefully this works and provides something a little different & interesting  I've just noticed one thing about all of this - the team leaders aren't paying themselves anything a race - do they keep the profit and foot up the loss?
