isaidno Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 McCaughan Launches New Team Former Formula Foxestalk champion Matt McCaughan has pulled off a major sponsorship coup after announcing that Topps Tiles will be the title sponsor for his team this season. Topps had been linked with rival team Hunter Motorsport, but the offer of part ownership of the team was too good to turn down. McCaughan has signed up Caterham to supply the Chassis and MG to supply the engines. McCaughan will be the lead driver in the team and is currently in negotiations with 3 drivers about the remaining 2 seats in the team.

There are rumours flying around that Jake Shingler () is on the verge of joining Jovan Matijas and Alex Cook at TBA Motorsports. It is very much believed that Team Manager Matijas see's potential in Shingler and was impressed by his performances under a decent partner in Shen at the end of last season. Foxestalk Motorsports understands that Matijas is willing to take a gamble on the rookie and to turn him into one of the game's best despite him being a stereotype of Ash17lcfc. Shingler is willing to take a cheap taxi driver's wage and TBA Motorsports could be on the verge of another major coup following the successful signing of Kool Tooler Alex Cook for only $1m a race.
