Daggers Posted 18 October 2008 Posted 18 October 2008 I guess someone half-hinched the optimistic bus back then
lcfc_jme Posted 18 October 2008 Posted 18 October 2008 Errr.. I'm not meaning to be controversial (sp? ) here, but I actually didn't hear the Oldham fans singing until after they'd scored, and even then I only heard two songs, one of which was "you're not singing anymore" - a bit rich coming from them, I thought. I heard the drum, but no accompanying words. Just a lot of clapping. I was on the far right side, just to clarify.

Agreed, I thought it was a decent atmopshere over our side cos I couldn't hear anything but that drum!
JakeShingler Posted 18 October 2008 Posted 18 October 2008 No they were quite loud if you was near them.
Jimmy Posted 18 October 2008 Posted 18 October 2008 No they were quite loud if you was near them. I would of loved to of been closer to them for the purposes of banter but our little section was immense

lcfc_jme Posted 18 October 2008 Posted 18 October 2008 Agreed, I thought it was a decent atmopshere over our side cos I couldn't hear anything but that drum! Tell me about it, it just led to a Tigers-esque clap with no words! Still, the in-banter and atmosphere on our side was pretty good for large parts. Always a good laugh to go with a large group of people you know. I was on the far right side, just to clarify. No they were quite loud if you was near them. Hmm. They had the far-left side of our stand, unless I'm blind and stupid.

SamL Posted 19 October 2008 Posted 19 October 2008 I would of loved to of been closer to them for the purposes of banter but our little section was immense I stood right next to the away fans and the banter was pretty decent. I was pretty impressed with the 'right side' if I'm honest, lots of people standing and you created a bit of noise as well. The Oldham fans on our left were quite loud at times but they only sang one or two songs.
