Tabou Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 What a complete tosser. How this bafoon managed to carve himself a 'career' out of recommending money saving vouchers is beyond me . I urge you people, do not listen to his savings and investment 'tips'. Or any of his 'advice' for that matter. The guy talks out of his proverbial. On a serious note, he doesn't have the qualifications required for giving financial advice, so this fool should be taken of the air!
Bellend Sebastian Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 He's no Alvin Hall, that's for sure. I like Alvin
Guest Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 A lot of what he advises is basic common sense, from what I've heard.

Ric Flair Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 Isn't his surname Lewis? There was a coont on the radio earlier, I think it was him. I wanted to scud the bastard. " I urge you all to find at least 6 months of mortgage re-payments, just incase you lose your job. This is important, find the money " What a penis smoker.

You often see the odd half eaten pizza in a bush with a box of sick with it, but I can't imagine there'd be many pissed up twats staggering about in the jungle before they went in for that to be the case there. The man's off his 5 0.

Was he one of the financial advisors who recommended putting ALL of your cash ISA savings into icesave?
Tabou Posted 21 October 2008 Author Posted 21 October 2008 Was he one of the financial advisors who recommended putting ALL of your cash ISA savings into icesave? Yes. I sympathise 100% for people who lost money in Iceland. I dropped a £2 coing down the back of a freezer there last year. Never got it back. Booowya
Corky Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 Martin Francis or Martin Lewis??? The pair of them are twats (like your good self Raj )

Vardinhio Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 Completely disagree. I took up the matched betting system recomended on his forum and made a swift £550. A mathematically proven system with no risk whatever the outcome. so...na

Booowya Lost money in Iceland? 1) I didn't think my money was lost... (and 90% of my savings were are with icesave) 2) I have never been to Iceland, how can I have lost money there?!?! 3) I perhaps ought to go to Iceland and grab some items to sell to reduce their debt towards me...
Anish Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 I disagree. His advice is great and his weekly email has also saved me a fair bit of money. Tabou - what's the basis of your argument? What's he done to offend you?

What's he done to offend you? The basis of my argument (that of a QUALIFIED IFA...) is that he generalises his potential listeners/readers recommending the same mortgage/isa/products to everyone. He said today "Unless you have a 20% deposit, you can't get a mortgage". 1) Yes you can, Nationwide do so. 2) You CAN still get a mortgage with no deposit. It's just a case of finding somebody who actually DOES know what they are doing.
