Stuliasz Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 He looked ok in patches I thought - just seemed to lack the desire to do everything that he was doing well in those first few games. He did however get two assists.
Joe. Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 He's just frustrating at times. He'll beat his man for fun, but then deliver a really weak cross. Next thing he'll be diving all over the place, or giving it away cheaply.
Tommeh Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 he's done fook all since fulham, wouldn't be disappointed to see him go back out on loan.
RowlattsFox Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 I thought he was better tonight, bit hit and miss but he gets two assists from his corners. Still much better than he is showing at the minute, I have no idea why he is so reluctant to take his man on, it was noticeable from the off tonight that he had the beating of the full back but seemed to want to cut inside onto his weaker side all the time.
Legend_in_blue Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 He does something great and then something daft all in the space of a few seconds. To be fair to him tonight though there wasn't a lot of space for him down the wings because they often employed 5 across the back.
morris1234 Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 maybe its because we are expecting too much of him??????? typical leicester fans really. i thought he did well tonight was hot and cold, at times slowed a move down and tried too much but he was trying to move forward. i just think we should lay off him and let him do his thing, hes not stupid and neither are our staff they will continue to teach him whats right and whats not. hes still young, he did well at bournemouth because he was just left to it but here he has to be a part of a team and work as hard as everybody else. and he set up 2 goals tonight! just lay off him, we werent expecting anything from lloyd but hes doing well but i dont here anybody moaning about him tonight, i thought he was poor but looked very tired so that might be why. WELL DONE MAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Milky Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 We've had the over reaction one way in building him up, and now we'll probably see an over reaction the other way. The young lad needs some encouragement, so let's not start ripping him to shreads.
shen Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 Maybe his personal life is really affecting him. The lad and his family have had a torrid time ever since he's been with us

The Bigman Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 He seemed to lack a bit of confidence at the start, gained a little after a good run and cross. But i was not really impressed by him tbh
Stuliasz Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 That corner pissed me off a bit, wen't straight out. How about praising him for his two corners that resulted in goals instead?
Tevez Posted 21 October 2008 Author Posted 21 October 2008 He's abit of a raw talent. Needs another loan I think.
Sods Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 One thing with Max Gradel that really pisses me off is, he has the worst left foot in the world. But constantly tries to use it.

fox123 Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 Maybe his personal life is really affecting him. The lad and his family have had a torrid time ever since he's been with us I'd agree with that, the pressure of public life and fans expectations may be a little to much on young shoulders, he probably thinks he can take on the world, but I think even footballers do have psychological (sp?) issues.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 I saw him with a copy of FIFA 09 the other day. Maybe he just can't stop playing it. Quality game.
Sods Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 I saw him with a copy of FIFA 09 the other day. Maybe he just can't stop playing it. Quality game. Hes poor on it! I would of taken it back.
Joe. Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 Nearly scored with it in the second half What was there keepers name? Clayton Ince.
He's not bald Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 One thing with Max Gradel that really pisses me off is, he has the worst left foot in the world. But constantly tries to use it. He's a tryer that's for sure and Walsall were worried enough to get 2 men on him whenever they could but he's just too lightweight and I don't think he's good enough to be honest, shame because he started the season with such promise!
Joe. Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 No use writing him off yet people He's got something, definitely. He's just got to use this time with us to know when and when not to do certain things. He's got big potential, and that's something we should be excited about.
DBEightyFive Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 Credit to him for his two assists...cracking corners absolutely spot on both times.
