Daggers Posted 4 November 2008 Author Posted 4 November 2008 Your seat at Wem-ber-ley is in jeopardy I am amazed how ambivalent I felt when that goal went in.
Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 What an awful awful partnership up front, ashley chambers deserves a go, I really fancy him to get on the score sheet tonight.
davieG Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 Perhaps we don't have any other competent RB's at the club - which is Pearson's fault, yes I know.Perhaps we should play with 10 men instead. I think Kisnorbo's played there before - seems more suitable to the role than Hobbs.
Daggers Posted 4 November 2008 Author Posted 4 November 2008 Perhaps Pearson's the only one who can't see that!. So who else is? I'm not thinking anyone at the club is better than Hobbs as an alternative. How we managed to go from having 217 right-backs last season to none in this is amazing.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 I am amazed how ambivalent I felt when that goal went in. know what you mean mate
Munzie Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 From the description rounded Hobbs to score - not a right back! We desperately need to sort this out. Leave Gilbert for the Yeovil game and bring in someone like Luke O'Neill for the cup match on Saturday.
Zingari Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 we need someone like Dale Tongue at RB , sounds like he's very penetrating and more effective than the pricks we've got
Thracian Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 The way things have been going in this competition so far I do wonder if the other teams might quite Rotherham to win - and get a boost to their finances after all their problems. I also wonder if Mark Robins might be a future City manager. I've long fancied us having an ex-striker in charge.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 So who else is? I'm not thinking anyone at the club is better than Hobbs as an alternative. How we managed to go from having 217 right-backs last season to none in this is amazing. Instead of playing experienced players out of position I would much prefer a young lad whose natural position it is... but none of our recent managers seem to have done that. Not having a go as such...but playing Berner in CM against Brighton wasn't a great move, maybe that O'Neill lad should get a start at full back....
Mark Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 HT changes Fryatt for Hayles, Chambers for Dyer. Game ON.
Fox You Forest Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 More importantly lets guess how many times Stringer will use the word Firework this half.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 Chambers for Dyer and Fryatt for Barry... that'll do
Thracian Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 Chambers for Dyer and Fryatt for Hayles apparently. I'd rather have took both strikers off but Pearson will have an eye on Saturday.
Munzie Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 Yet another match where we have been slow to start. We'll probably go a goal down and then start chasing the game. ...let's hope this is true.
Thracian Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 ...let's hope this is true. Having been at Manchester United, Robins will know all about countering fast on the break.
BlabyFox Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 Is Gradel playing because he definately doesn't deserve to be if he is- he played an absolute terrible game on Saturday. Perhaps the game will be abandoned! why?
Thracian Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 Is Gradel playing because he definately doesn't deserve to be if he is- he played an absolute terrible game on Saturday.why? No Adams is playing and we're losing 1-0 to Rotherham!
Munzie Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 4 4 2 or 4 3 3 ? Sounds like 4-4-2 with Chambers on the left wing?!? Grow some balls Pearson and go 4-3-3.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 Sounds like 4-4-2 with Chambers on the left wing?!?Grow some balls Pearson and go 4-3-3. I imagine we'll see that sometime soon
Munzie Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 I imagine we'll see that sometime soon Something's gotta happen as we are left with Berner & Mattock on the bench!
