Daggers Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 I'm more excited about this tie than any other in our previous history. G'won the boos Blues.
DB11 Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 We're playing tonight? Eh? I thought our game in hand was next week.
Asha Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 We're playing tonight? Eh? I thought our game in hand was next week. It's Rotherham away, in the JPT Area QF. Rotherham aren't even in our league, how could it be a league game?

Tabou Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 as if were going to get to that final i was just being realistic I think I was being realistic? I mean, what have Arsenal and Chelsea got that City haven't? Yes, Adeybeyour (Sp) Ballack, Lampard. But we have Oakley, Clemence, Hayles. I'm putting money on City atleast getting to the final. Maybe winning the FA Cup.

Tilley Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 I love your laugh-a-minuite attitude. If I could be arsed to expand, i'd go on to say how they looked alright against Leeds etc, but nay energy.

Thracian Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 While a trip to the Don Valley Stadium has no appeal to me at all, this is an interesting game. Mark Robins is no mug as a manager no more than he was as a striker and you can imagine them posing a threat in attack. Alongside that Nigel Pearson has to balance which is most important - fielding his strongest team and trying to win the match, or doing other important things like involving his peripheral players and looking at what other options he might have for the League campaign. To me the last thing we need from tonight is injury because we seem to have such a thin squad of genuine first teamers and so little realistic cover in far too many positions. One thing is certain though. Luke O'Neill won't be playing instead of Jack Hobbs at right back because the youngster had a full 90 minutes in the FA Youth Cup last night. Whether Lee Cox is in the frame I don't know. Porter might be thought of as another alternative but even on the moan-in the other night I was told that questions about his prospects were sidestepped so there's nothing to encourage anyone to think he might return - ever, never mind tonight. I just wonder if anyone knows who's travelling?
Thracian Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 I want a wembley trip I'm sure my lad said he was going there early next summer for an Oasis concert. I bet he'd be happy to drop you off!.
