Thracian Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 The stuff dreams are made of. And Hobbs supplying the hopeful high balls.
Thracian Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 People say we should win but Rotherham don't sound the least bit intimidated. And they sound well capable of getting people forward.
Munzie Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 They sound like they are on top Yet another match where we have been slow to start. We'll probably go a goal down and then start chasing the game.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 have faith guys...H&H to run rings around em with their blistering pace!!!!
Thracian Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 Yet another match where we have been slow to start. We'll probably go a goal down and then start chasing the game. When your priority is chasing a championship it must be hard to get motivated for this. Players may well be subconsciously saving energy and avoiding injury.
Zingari Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 that chicken balti pie he can smell sounds better than this crap
Fox You Forest Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 that chicken balti pie he can smell sounds better than this crap Just what i was thinking.

Even with this stupid rule of playing a percentage of first teamers, we could have been more effective in resting players and bringing others through.
Daggers Posted 4 November 2008 Author Posted 4 November 2008 can hear the right side left side song! Oh Christ! I heard the shite rightsideleftside chant.

Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 interesting to see if Chambers gets on, and who he partners... bit of little and large??? the lads got pace hasn't he?? I'm sure he played a cameo appearance in a League Cup game a while back......??
Thracian Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 would have been perfect for billy kee and ricky sappleton to play! Kee on the bench might have been encouraging for the lad. Hayles sounds about as sharp as a paper knife so far and you cannot imaine him lasting a full 90. Or Howard for that matter.

I'm sure he played a cameo appearance in a League Cup game a while back......?? I would love Chambers to get an oppertunity tonight. A good run out could have a significant impact on his future league appearances. That said, I bet Pearson will only give him the nod if we are looking comfortable for the win. Otherwise, he'll revert to Fryatt.

I'm sure he played a cameo appearance in a League Cup game a while back......?? From long term injury straight into the first team - that's some step even in tonight's circumstances. But I agree it would be nice to see him get some time. Howard clearly rates him and kept him well involved pre-season before his injury.

I'm sure he played a cameo appearance in a League Cup game a while back......?? Er, that was like...2005. He's made a fair few appearances since. Couple of starts last season too.
Zingari Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 the ball came off tongue is he watching something else ?
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 Er, that was like...2005.He's made a fair few appearances since. Couple of starts last season too. I was out of the country for second half of last season and thus was a little guilty of not checking team sheets...what did he look like in the games he started????
Libertine Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 I was out of the country for second half of last season and thus was a little guilty of not checking team sheets...what did he look like in the games he started???? Fair enough. He's always lively etc, but still not really got the chance to settle in enough to show his quality. Which, trust me, I know all about. <_<
Thracian Posted 4 November 2008 Posted 4 November 2008 It really sounds like a torrid exercise. Hayles fluffs another opportunity. Why don't we try to look forward instead of persisting with old timers? Okay Hayles might score to confound me but is this guy really the answer to our striking alternatives?
