JakeShingler Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 Yes, was a bit pissed off with the Man City fans to be honest. I was in awe of the PSG fans, they were brilliant. The Mancs just sat there and moaned all the way through, some fans just don't know they are born. The stewards at the end were knobs too, the PSG players wanted to throw their shirts into their fans but the stewards tried to block them but they pushed past and did it anyway - good on them I say. PSG didn't play so well on the night but they are definitely my favourite French team It was great, I'll let Syston speak for himself for he'll say the same I think Oh glad you enjoyed it.
syston_fox Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 How was it? Awesome as always. God I love that stadium and although it was disappointing that Robinho and SWP wern't playing it was still a quality night and had a right laugh. Second time I've been to Man City now this season and both times have been brilliant and got chatting to the locals - it's nice to see real fans in the premiership and they can appreciate what it's like to fall down to the third tier of football having done it themselves 10 years ago. Any fans that just turn their back when the opponents have a corner in front of them get my blessing and as for that song where they all hold their scarfs up? Immense. Also the guy I was sat next to made me chuckle when he went on a rant about how you get the bottle caps confiscated and then he threw his empty bovril carton down so a bit splashed onto the chavvy pair a few rows in front who were annoying us all. Oh and Katy's face when she first saw the view - priceless! Match itself was disappointing but a few good moments and chances for both teams. Certainly wasn't a wasted trip though!

Yeah, he was sound that bloke. Reminded me of Hullfox a bit. Don't laugh at my face, it was amazing just walking in and seeing that, what a quality ground. Shame there were not so many speed cameras on the way back though
Alexikokopops Posted 16 December 2008 Author Posted 16 December 2008 Since beating Lyon, PSG have lost 1-0 (Rennes, away), and won 3-1 (Le Mans, home) and 2-1 (Auxerre, away). Currently sitting 4th in the league, three points behind leaders Lyon
CosbehFox Posted 16 December 2008 Posted 16 December 2008 Expect to see Wenger at PSG when he leaves Arsenal. Whether in a management role or otherwise. One of his bezzie mates is on the board at PSG now.
Alexikokopops Posted 18 December 2008 Author Posted 18 December 2008 4-0 win against Twente! 3rd in the group! KEEN!
syston_fox Posted 18 December 2008 Posted 18 December 2008 4-0 win against Twente! 3rd in the group! KEEN! With the mighty Man City topping the group on the back of that win - good stuff

Katy Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 Big bollocks eh? Hell - i'd have settled for bog! Meh, it's not a biography.
syston_fox Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 Meh, it's not a biography. It'll now be the title of my autobiography though: Bog Bollocks Syston Fox
Corky Posted 27 February 2009 Posted 27 February 2009 3-1 PSG now. They've got a decent chance of winning the Uefa Cup now.
CosbehFox Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Appearing at Emirates Cup for those interested. Went last year, it's a good day. The line-up this year is a bit of a step down and suspect lots of coppers with Rangers playing.
