lildave3 Posted 13 November 2008 Posted 13 November 2008 I'd like to go to a European game sometime within the next year for a weekend or something, France would be a likely destination. If money's looking good I might try and get over there next year, I'm sure I could drag a couple with me too. Oooh oooh pick me pick me! LD3's paying! ISTANBUL!
Joe. Posted 14 November 2008 Posted 14 November 2008 Flights to Paris are alright price-wise. Looking at about the same price as the Eurostar would be for me... This could well be on sometime soon.

syston_fox Posted 14 November 2008 Posted 14 November 2008 Can't remember off the top of my head but think fixtures ran up until the end of May.... How much is the eurostar looking?
Joe. Posted 14 November 2008 Posted 14 November 2008 Can't remember off the top of my head but think fixtures ran up until the end of May....How much is the eurostar looking? Well I looked for me and it was near £45 (youth price though). Looked at flights for December time out of interest and they were £50-60 (not sure whether they included taxes or not though).

I looked for the weekend of the yeovil game with ryan air and it was about £32 return including taxes or something crazy like that but they'd all sold out. I'd be up for a trip to Paris to watch a game though - love the city!
syston_fox Posted 17 November 2008 Posted 17 November 2008 Tickets sorted for Man City v PSG. Did you decide to go for it in the end Fez?
Alexikokopops Posted 25 November 2008 Author Posted 25 November 2008 PSG 1-0 Lyon (HT 1-0) Giuly 25 Bookings: Bookings: Rothen 75 Ederson 53 Kolodzieczak 64 Gassama 71 Cris 90+3 Sent off: Juninho 77
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 I didn't go in the end, needless to say. Watched it on ITV4. PSG played really well in the last 20 minutes or so once Giuly and Hoarau were on. Should have won it definitely. PSG fans were brilliant. All stood, all sang all game, bouncing around like lunatics. Love it. Missed Sessegnon though, he'll go on to better things I reckon.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 Allez Les Verts! Not doing to well recently though.
The People's Hero Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 Giuly is quality. Always liked him. Rothen too.
lildave3 Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 Not doing to well recently though. Just a bit, saw the highlights of their game last week, Gomis was shit!

lavrentis Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 English support is so embarassing. Only at home. Away in europe, english fans are loud.
purpleronnie Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 Only at home. Away in europe, english fans are loud. Which fans and where?
lavrentis Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 Which fans and where? Just in general because away from home in europe you get the die hards, which In my opinion quite loud. I'm sure they are not going to travel 1000 miles just to sit on their arse.

Katy Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 'Bout Jizzed over that. Quality support.Typical English moronic response "Who are ya" "What the foorking 'ell was that" Yes, was a bit pissed off with the Man City fans to be honest. I was in awe of the PSG fans, they were brilliant. The Mancs just sat there and moaned all the way through, some fans just don't know they are born. The stewards at the end were knobs too, the PSG players wanted to throw their shirts into their fans but the stewards tried to block them but they pushed past and did it anyway - good on them I say. PSG didn't play so well on the night but they are definitely my favourite French team How was it? It was great, I'll let Syston speak for himself but he would say the same I think
