Alexikokopops Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 That's right, me and Fez are having our own PSG thread. None of this all encompassing "European Leagues" thread Lost 1-0 to Nice on Saturday. 11th in the Ligue. Also, probably the greatest goalkeeper in the world Why catch a 30 yard volley when you can try and chest it down to your defence? Fantastic
purpleronnie Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 Went to see PSG V Marseille about 10 years ago, to this day one of the best football experiences I've ever had, I always look out for their results. I encourage anyone to hop over and take in a game, although I hear things aren't what they used to be.

It was still bloody brilliant. The videos don't realy show the amount everyone was jumping up and down all over the shop, with the whole upper tier of the kop moving along the rows and onto different rows and all that. It would've been awesome if the match we went to was against Marseille (instead of Toulouse). We got there just over an hour before kick off and even though the stadium was pretty empty the reactions to the highlights video of the Marseille match a week before was ridiculous. Here's some of the pictures: Fez walking up to the ground Early doors when we first got there Filling up (check out all the multitude of Toulouse fans in the corner) FLARES PSG fans kicking off Disgruntled

Darkzzz_ Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 I can't believe you have not put your love into my thread. I am hurt by this, but I will get through it, I like PSG.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 Bloody loved it. I want to go back. Have always had a soft spot for PSG since I visited France in the mid 90s. Fantastic experience.
dandannieldanok Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 France is an awesome place. True, can't see why so many ignorant Brits condemn the place and it's people.
Darkzzz_ Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 I have had a few pleasant trips to France and I really enjoyed it.
Darkzzz_ Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 Must say I have always liked Lyon, Although PSG have always been a team I have wanted to do well. I think we all have a team we like from different country's.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 9 November 2008 Posted 9 November 2008 Charles Villeneuve and Sebastian Bazin, respectively president and main stockholder of the PSG, lived an odd misfortune on Saturday, as narrate it The Parisian of day. Both men had in effect planned to go to London to assist match Armory-Manchester United but the Eurostar into which they had boarded victim of a technical problem, making all passengers was leave the train in Calais. Villeneuve and Bazin then rented a car to rally the capital and they even could attend the last training of their protecting on the lawn of the Park of the Princes. Hmm. PSG at home to Lille tonight.

Alexikokopops Posted 10 November 2008 Author Posted 10 November 2008 Sakho & Sankhare YES! Fez got Sankhare on the back of his shirt. I was going to get one with Sakho but then realised it was about €40 cheaper to get a vintage 80s shirt instead.
syston_fox Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 How much were the tickets for the game? Wondering if it's possible for a weekend in paris when we were due to have Yeovil away!
lildave3 Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 How much were the tickets for the game?Wondering if it's possible for a weekend in paris when we were due to have Yeovil away! Trip to Istanbul I reckon. You're paying.
Alexikokopops Posted 10 November 2008 Author Posted 10 November 2008 How much were the tickets for the game?Wondering if it's possible for a weekend in paris when we were due to have Yeovil away! €35 (£28.50) each, with €13.50 (£11) p&p per order. You can pick them up somewhere in France but that seemed like a right lot of effort. Right on the halfway line in the top tier with an exquisite view

That's more expensive than the plane I found earlier Im guessing that have a ticket office you can just turn up to on the day? Assuming they don't sell out

That's more expensive than the plane I found earlier Im guessing that have a ticket office you can just turn up to on the day? Assuming they don't sell out You can sit elsewhere for cheaper. These were the prime seats. "It's ok, I have money" was something I distinctly remember Fez saying as he whipped out his debit card at 3:46am to pay the €580 bill he managed to rack up at "Le Theatre" in Pigalle. But anyway, yeah, you can buy tickets at the PSG shop on the Champs Elysee on the day. The attendance was just over 41000 (the stadium holds just shy of 49000) for the Wednesday night match we went to so I don't know what it'll be like on a Saturday match.
