My stance hasn't changed one iota whether you swear at me or not.

If it were Fryatt who had a moderate game and scored a bloody good winner - in fact any sort of winner - the posters on here would have been all over it.

Things like: "Never at his best but did what was required."

"Won us the game, simple as..."

"Sixteenth goal of the season speaks for itself."

This club was an embarrassment last season partly because we never scored from midfield and never scored from the wings.

Kingy's got five now this from central midfield this season and he's third top scorer ahead even of notional main striker Steve Howard and way ahead of another striker, DJ, who had his golden opportunity and managed to fluff it from about 6 yards.

Not only has he got those goals but yet again he made something out of nothing again and it's high time he got some appreciation because the difference it made was two points that might be absolutely vital to us in going up.

Actually, Howard's got 10 goals this season.

N.B - This would be the case if King, Porter, or Hammond (!) would've had the goals disallowed, just like Sheehan's assist for when DJ missed against Sheff Weds last season.

Also, the last sentence you seem to be crediting that King is the reason that we could possibly go up.

I don't expect a reply, and if you do, I expect it to be totally irrelevant to the points I've made.

If you want to read the sentence in that way you have my blessing. Read it any way you choose.

And give Howard 10 goals by all means. If it opens up a gap at the top and does both City's and Howard's cause some good why would I complain.

Press a button on your computer and change the text into Chinese or Arabic...

Print the text out and eat it with cheese and pickle. Whatever floats your boat. It's your life, your decision and whatever you do, just enjoy it.

I'm going to chill with some :D

King - 7. Was having an absolute mare - until his goal. His resemblance to Gareth Williams gets stronger by the week.

Agreed it wasn't his best game but he certainly doesn't deserve a comparison like that

Berner defo MOM. Good celebrations with the fans afterwards as well. Starting to really like the bloke.

King and Oakley good as well. Tunchev awesome.

Hendo - 8 Last 10 minutes he really commanded the defence, telling them to push out. Seems really commited to the cause. Looked injured at the end tho, hopefully not for long

Edworthy - 7 Pretty solid

Morrison - 7.5 Great performance, has improved soo much since pre-season

Tunchev - 8 I can't see him staying at Leicester long, hes so calm on the ball, very rarely makes a mistake

Mattock - 6 Not his best game, isolated at times

Oakley - 8 Great performance, has more freedom on the right

Berner - 8.5 Was everywhere on the pitch, midfield is better balanced with him there

King - 7 Took his goal really well, but wasn't his best game

Dyer - 8 When Dyer plays well, we play well, great first half, alittle quiet second half

Fryatt - 7 Had a part in both goals, worked hard

DJ - 7 Worked hard, offside too much but put himself about

Shit me, there's a surprise.

I am now going to see how many times I can introduce that sentence into conversation this week.

Absolute genius Rob.

Can someone tell me where the button is to change text into Chinese or Arabic?

I hope I don't press it by mistake when I am trying to make a point about Levi 名 门房;挑夫;服务生;黑啤酒

Bollocks.

Henderson 7 - Solid game. No chance with goal and a couple of cracking saves.

Edworthy 6 - Good cover but look forward to seeing Gilbert back soon to give more attacking options

Morrison 7.5 - Solid and dependable.

Tunchev 7.5 - Just has that touch of class which sets him apart from the others

Mattock 7 - Pleased to see he has not been a one season wonder...will he be here in Feb?

Oakley 7 - Gives us more options and is more involved

Berner 8 - M O M What a revelation...a bit like when Kisnorbo went the other way from midfield to defence. In this league you need a ball winner in midfield and he certainly seems up for it at the moment

King 6.5 - Poor display....great goal.

Dyer 7.5 - This guy is soooo cool in front of goal.

Fryatt 7 - Worked hard and had a couple of half chances.

DJ 4 - Poor, poor poor. How many time does he want to get caught off-side. Their defenders must have been p**sing themselves laughing at how easy it was. 14 offsides in one match!!! OK not all DJ but he was the main culprit.

Surprised Nigel did not bring on Hales to replace DJ for the last 20 mins although the result proved me wrong. I feel we saw how effective Howard is in reality when compared to DJ. Be interesting to see if Dickov gets a run out to see how effective he could be.

Overall a great day in wastelands of a freezing North Lincolnshire

I don't think Ultra has ever had a good word to say about the lad so I wouldn't be too surprised on that one. :D

He was absolute dogshite mate. He'll never score for us if he keeps straying offside every time the ball gets played to him. He must have been offside himself at least 10 times, and that's not even an exaggeration.

'Dogshite' is over exaggerating?

He was offside, alot!

But that was his first 90 minutes in the first team in how long?

Give him a chance, he can't be judged in one game!!

I was laughing because 4 is well harsh, he was 6ish, but not 4!!

The barrage of texts will have to wait. :P

I think against other teams DJ should get through their defence, rather then being off side, S****horpe were playing a clever game and they really pushed up on us. I think some of the ratings for DJ are unfair, he was constantly closing down and being a nuisance, putting challenges in and winning the ball on many occassions. I think we played football yesterday as we didn't really have the option of hoofball to Howard.

You can't really say that you don't exaggerate, Matt Oakley springs to mind.

There's a huge difference in their roles though, Fryatt is there for goals to a much greater extent than King. King is a central midfielder and has such MUST be in the game. A striker is there to score goals and whether he does it by bossing the game or by popping up in the last minute is far less important than for a midfielder.

I'd take a midfielder having an ordinary game and scoring the winner anytime.

Blanderson - Star Man - Andy King

King deserved his big moment because, in a hard-working midfield, he battled well and, although the central defence also earned plaudits, his match-winning goal edged the star-man verdict just as it edged the destination of the points.

I'm sorry Blanderson but scoring the winning goal does not mean he was the best player for us. Morrison, Tunchev, Berner and Fryatt were much better in my opinion.
