Koke Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 To be fair, they have a perfectly legitimate reason to be negative. Nine points and a goal difference of minus 20 - That's heart breaking stuff.
dandannieldanok Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Trouble is football sometimes doesn't work like that and the last thing we need is for anyone to think it will be easy.It would be a real waste of an opportunity to lose but disastrous? Disastrous is playing for a draw at Stoke when you need to win, not suffering a shock defeat at home when you're top of the table. There's a way back from the Crewe game but there wasn't one when the final whistle blew at Stoke. Perhaps not disastrous, but if we lost then imagine what that would do for morale. Also we'd inevitably drop off the top of the league causing more damage to morale, never mind the added factor of booing fans at the final whistle if we lost. Obviously it would hardly ruin the season but a defeat is something we could do without. Crewe are a poor team, it may sound arrogant on my part but it's true, and with our squad it should be a simple task if the players go about it professionally.
The Stig Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Draw. As I'm going so therefore it won't be a decent performance.
Joe. Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 They've not won in 11 games. Surely this has to be a win?
Corky Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 They've not won in 11 games. Surely this has to be a win? The more I think about it, the more nervous I am. Leicester City never do things easily.
Ashley Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 I can us smashing them tomorrow and then on the other hand I can see us struggling tomorrow.
